I think all the companies having more than 100 employees (not sure about the exact number) are advised by the government to have POSH committee. I see most of the HR members are there.

@bold, how it is biased if she convicted him based on her past experience. Didn't Viaan committed crime by asking for ONS in office?

Internal committee has to be headed by a senior woman officer and a male officer has to be part of it. There should be 2-3 other women members. All from within organisation. You can not have external member. Meetings have to be video recorded and confidential. In my place, we get a non disclosure form signed by all members before we start meeting. I will share a few experience later. A bit busy with some guests

If she finds him guilty now, toh theek.... Buy that should be based to proof.... Not anything else.


Thanks for the info about committee.

In most of the cases video or any other proofs are not available and most people avoid to complain. So the committee will inquire about the accussed behavior by asking other female member of the same team.

Previous allegations or complaints of sexual harassment against an individual can be considered as subjective evidence.

Those discussing about anti harassment cell or internal committee, check spoilers thread once. A five member team with three females & two males will get shown in upcoming KA episodes. Other than Katha, remaining seem to be non-Earthcon representatives, one lady looks like a director.


KA writing & direction team is quite intelligent here in making Katha head of this internal committee to investigate Shamita's case, not some one like Jenny. 😎 She will get to hear different opinions about Viaan from Earthcon staff, both truth & false in the course of resolving Shamita's case while also introspecting her own conflicts.


If we recollect, when Katha rejoined Earthcon post Dubai frictions & truth revelation about Aarav's cancer treatment, she refused to file harassment complaint against Viaan with HR even on Viaan's suggestion,😳rather she laid down some of her own conditions. So its full circle for Viaan now, that could be one reason he isn't shown losing his cool about this false case.


Now this committee in bts is shown talking to some other female staff members who regularly interact/work with Viaan to know their experiences about Earthcon workplace safety & policies, their CEO's general behavior with females.đŸ‘đŸŒ So if Katha wasn't heading committee to investigate, then she would have been other side of the table giving her statement to committee about Viaan's behavior as a boss with her as an employee.đŸ€Ș As Katha can't lie, neither wants to remember troublesome past nor break the deal made with Viaan, it could have been a tough spot & traumatic for her, which she now escaped being part of committee.

Really, it would be interesting to see Katha get questioning. I am sure Katha will lie or hide about ONS but they would question why she resigned immediately after Dubai's trip. What happened there?

Katha won't get questioned by committee, as she escaped being questioned as an Earthcon female employee by this investigating committee after having taken up a neutral presiding officer role of the same committee.😛 Now Katha is on the other side asking questions to Shamita, other employees & CEO to analyse about the unpopular case, not in taking questions about CEO.

Even though the investigation is specific to the case, questions about Viaan’s past behaviors are likely to come up to bring this case to a closure.I hope the makers show this smartly to show how the employees think really about Viaan. I don’t think Katha would bring up the ONS in return for money since she equally was part of it and Aarav’s life was saved. Wondering if the Dubai proposal will popup? interested to see what Ehsaan has to say when questioned. He seems to be already getting influenced by Farah and also has special interest to paint a bad picture of Viaan in front of Katha

In reality also no one will speak against their boss because either they would have slept with their boss for some benefit or they are thrown out of office by saying poor performance.

No

In reality even bosses are fired bcoz of complaints

from female employees

In this show katha won't highlight it bcoz it was a deal(not blackmailing) and she has taken money for it .
