Fish is such a staple food in Kerala. I don't think anyone eats as much fish as we do except maybe bengalis.

I just fast forwarded and saw the episode. There is no indication that they did it. Her father is in the hospital and in the last scene she is crying her eyes out and he is consoling her. I doubt they would have done anything after that.

Fish is not that liked by others generally. Maybe because of the smell and difficulty to clean and cook compared to chicken. Also it's not as easily available and the taste of fish depends on where it's caught. In Kerala the taste of a fish from the sea is very different from fish from the backwaters or ponds. Fishes from the backwaters are the tastiest.

I like sea food over chicken and meat. So it was so hard for me during my stay in Delhi. It was hard to get fish there. It's all chicken and mutton and i get done with North Indian food very easily. I am a true blue blooded malayali when it comes to food. Can't have any other cuisine other than Kerala for too long. 🤣
