The whole interview RS gave outside on the carpet, talking about how HC brought so many shades to his character and that he's brought a positivity to the Rishta set gives me hope that Abhimanyu will be redeemed somehow. He goes on to say that picture abhi baaki hai.

I had a bad feeling that maybe HC would quit given how much his character has been butchered to glorify the cameo and RS wouldn't care but the whole award function mein dono ke vibes makes it seem like Abhimanyu is here to stay and will remain the ML.

There was some debate about Abhinav bringing in TRP, so I'll just add this. The day she starts loving Abhinav, we'll get to actually see if the TRP audience actually wants them together. After leaps, TRP increased only because people want to know if the main couple will get together. Look at the TRP now- 2.4 - which was normal even before the leap. To me the leap and separation makes no sense, only because the TRP increased like .2-.3 points for 2-3 weeks. Which is a fluctuation one always sees even in normal times. The highest I remember was 3.3 when the first confession happened. It has been the slot leader since this generation started, so don't get the TRP chasing anyway. SP just wants slot leaders - as long as we beat Kundali Bhagya, SP doesn't care about JS or KS or anyone.

Abhimanyu can "respect" and pander to Arohi all he wants, he is never going to love her. Arohi knows that. Manjari knows that. Abhimanyu knows that. Married or not, kids or not, he'll always be Akshara's amaanat. He has messed up and he's suffering as a result. He has been shown by Akshara how he failed her and now he doesn't want to fail Ruhi. But, Ruhi, Arohi or Manjari can never make him whole again. He is not falling in love again. *Fact*

But I fail to understand where Akshara stands. She is rightfully angry at Abhimanyu. But what exactly is in her heart? She hates Abhi? She likes Abhinav? She has a platonic relationship with the entire world? Does she want a normal husband-wife relationship with her new beau? I don't understand if she even has any feelings (even hatred) towards Abhimanyu anymore. Thoda clarity ho toh one can peacefully leave watching the serial if Abhira is not meant to be.

Akshu knows that she can't love anybody else. Right now she is under trauma and confusion. She keeps managing to show she moved on and doesn't love Abhi anymore. she doesn't want to get into the same bashing and manipulations again and she doesn't want to lose her son. For that her only source is Nav.

Unknowingly, just for once her feelings came out on Ab accident day, and she faced many allegations and went through all that trauma. no one supported or stood with her. right after Abhi proposed, so her anger is at its peak as all this she getting is because of him and she showed on him.

Now she understood at any cost KM will make Ab marry Ar. So she doesn't want to reveal Abhir's truth and spoil that get some more allegations.

In her mind, all this happened as she went back to Udaipur or because of her past.

She is trying to erase all her past and be normal with Nav as before and protect her son from all these toxic relations.

What if Abhimanyu’ stays and Akshu is done away with? Just a question not trying to be negative or create panic, because her character is not given the importance due for it.

I have stopped watching the show so excuse my cluelessness when it comes to certain things. Just watch bits on Instagram/Twitter.

None of this explains what she feels though.

BTW I still maintain that it is wrong on her part to not have disclosed Abhir's truth to Abhimanyu. Whether he divorced her or not, whether Abhinav acted as Abhir's father, Abhimanyu remains the child's biological father. Even if he refused to listen to her once, she still should have clean when the emotions were not as high. She has had six years. I have my own grudge against Abhimanyu and feel the need to physically hurt him most times, but she is wrong in concealing a child from a man who mourns the child's loss. I understood Sai hiding Savi from Virat in GHKKPM majorly because Virat had done crimes that should land him in jail. Abhimanyu is still not as far gone as Virat (it is also very hard to be as unredeemable as Virat) and shares a good relationship with Abhir even after assuming that the child is Akshara and Abhinav's. As a feminist, I support the fact that he was wrong in demanding divorce just as a miscarriage happened, considering the fact that Akshara also lost her children. But it would be stupid to say that Akshara is right/Abhimanyu shouldn't be pissed off on knowing that his child survived and he had no clue. He also lost his children that day - children he really wanted. Making another man your child's father without informing his biological father is wrong. They tried to contact him once and he refused is just a stupid thing to say. You've had 6 years now.

Away from the tangent - I understand what is in her head. She wants everything to go back to how it was.It's a form of denial and zidd which is going to run the next 2-3 months. But what is in her heart is the question. What/who does her heart want?
