Anyone from Punjab?

Can you please fill me in on what is going on there right now? The Internet has been suspended, no gathering of people of four or more, multiple arrests, police flooding people's home. Everyone I know here abroad fears fake encounters, the killing of innocents, and human rights violations. I hope we are wrong. But can someone just fill me in?

I don't think this should affect normal citizens whatsoever.

I have heard he did nothing wrong. And the attack on the police station was news started by Republic and Times Now that are infamous for making up rubbish. Also I hear 78 other people are arrested? Why?

Because if he was innocent and you do not have the footage to prove him guilty then it is kind of the death of an innocent no ? What about the news I posted about 78 other people arrested. I have a strong feeling there was nothing caught on camera because my sources are often more accurate then Republic or Times Now. Btw.. mid I haven't seen you around? How about an introduction?
