I mean it isn’t impossible to mistake someone for your spouse for a quick second. I’ve done it and I swear I love my husband! His friend was wearing a shirt that my husband owned as well. I tapped his arm thinking it was him…a bit embarrassing but nothing inappropriate luckily. Also I was once grocery shopping and noticed that this guy came and stood really close to me behind my cart. He then looked at me, said he thought I was his wife, apologized and walked away. His wife was standing across the aisle laughing at him. Poor guy looked so embarrassed. We weren’t even the same ethnicity which made it even more funny. I don’t blame Murtasim for that or checking her eye if she was making a big deal about it. It just looks really bad! Throughout his interactions with Haya, he just continuously defends Meerab and declares his love for her. I think the main problem is taking her with him. I guess it’s all about avoiding those situations.

I liked how Anwar supported Meerab in front of Maa Begum and also gave an excuse for her that she went to Doctor but confronted her in person. Most importantly, he did not even went near Meerab and Rohail when he saw them though he was not ok with it. Glad that he did not make a scene there.

Sometimes I doubt, if he is same man who abandoned his new born because his wife died while giving birth.

At times, he acts, sensibly.

The consummation scene was probably one of most talked about and well shot and way ahead of it’s time

oh yes I remember it. Jai-Bani had such craze. Ekta had many faults but her shows around that time were bold. And she always nailed the leads & their chemistry.

Haya needs to be told upfront and to the point, Murtasim can even call her sister (that would give him brownie points) and announce in their hallroom, THIS IS MY WIFE and I AM BLOODY TAKEN.

She loves me, she loves me not, ain't your business to see.

Meerab should not do anything to compromise her self-esteem to show that Haya her place. Murtasim has to be the only one doing the honours of sending that pixie far away and married.

I can't digest he is ok with her dressing as his wife. Is he really that stupid to think she dressed like that with innocent intentions.
