And he is empathising with the person who leaves no chance to insult his wife, who intentionally created misunderstandings , who daringly insulting his wife infront of him by showing off flowers, who still claims to love him openly. Very cute.

It is definitely shallow of him. Because if he is good leader, he will think about every life. There was a choice for him to go alone instead of taking haya with him which can cause harm to her life. This is not how a leader behaves.

Just to add in my few cents - Meerab doesn’t know Rohail is a psycho. They have been friends for 4 years and from what was established she thought he was a good enough friend to throw her a party. She was unaware he’s in love with her. So her going to meet him makes sense. She omitted to tell anyone her plans because she is imprisoned of sorts in that mansion- if they know she went to meet a male friend there will be opposition. And she didn’t lie when confronted Anwar did.

Murtasim took Haya to the village knowing Meerab wouldn’t like it( yesterday they had a fight about it) and that Haya is obsessively in love with him. Also she constantly berates Meerab and puts her down feeding his insecurities and he discusses it with her. Why? To keep her in the loop? And this after Haya had caused him to believe Meerab left him after the accident. He, being Murtasim, should just say I don’t want discuss my wife or marriage with you, shut up Haya. Secondly why can he refuse to take Anwar Meerab and MB with him but when Haya’s name is proposed, he’s like ok

Coming back to Meerab when told that Rohail’s in love with her, a sick and sad Meerab says this isn’t possible. Sorry I hurt you but nothing can be done. Please take your ring back.

Haya says I loved you, my dua saved you, you should have married me, your wife doesn’t love you bla bla s as bd Murtasim says make me breakfast, let’s go on an overnight trip?

How is the two comparable? How is having coffee with a friend who you have no romantic inclination for same as taking your lovesick obsessed cousin who has already been the bone of contention on an overnight trip for no reason comparable?

Now coming to Meerab discussing her marriage with Rohail- why does everyone think she is discussing her sex life with him? From what I remember all she says this is a contract marriage- and this is because she is overwhelmed by the shitstorm in her house and literally no one talks to her normally except Murtasim- was she stupid yes but for her Rohail isn’t a psycho lover. He hasn’t done anything to show his obsessive love for her. For her it was like this friend had feelings for me but is still a friend. To be fair he takes her rejection pretty passively. So she has no reason to believe he will go full psycho on him. Also, while she is subconsciously in love, she never claimed to have accepted Murtasim. She still views the marriage as a barrier to her dream life. And she was nostalgic about that wonderful strong girl Rohail was talking about.

Meerab will be crucified if she does.

But then why did they show that part where she returns it and gets back home? If she accepted it, they would have shown Rohail insisting her to keep it and she accepting it reluctantly. It is not adding up.

What murtasim does is what every man should do. It's the basic but unfortunately the standard is 6 foot below the ground. It's like saying thank you to someone for not assaulting you. Like isn't this the basic humanity?? Matlab Kuch bhi.

The problem is with the writer thinking murtasim is mahan and a devta for being basic. Not her fault with the way society is. But still. If she's writing and wanting to go in a certain direction then she should go full bang on and keep a sequential character arc.

So meerab has to give in just because murtasim is doing the minimal all men should do as their basic responsibility?

Such writers do more damage than good.

Also, there's problem with the audience in general. How do dramas like khanni, kesi Teri khudgarzi do so well. I didn't watch a single episode of either. And not because of content only. But lack of acting skills 🤣

The production house made haya a third lead. Like seriously??
