Anwar, MB and Meerub meant more to him than haya and I explained his mindset in one of the posts above that how the leader in him has to take precedence over the family man.

He never allowed haya to do wife duties like taking his clothes

He never embarassed meerab by staying silent when haya was showing off flowers to her

He decided to take haya with him despite having many options like anwar.

If he cares more about anwar than haya is the excuse then that proves how shallow his character is.

It will meant it's ok for him to danger haya life but not anwar.

A hero won't do it. He would have decided go alone instead of endangering someone.

And let's not pretend like he never talked about his married life to haya casually despite her openly telling her wish to marry him.

What's the use of his weak defenses when he gives haya much leeway to talk nonsense about his wife.

But a woman sharing about her forced marriage with her friend is not okay.

I don’t remember who but somebody here said that Murtasim has discussed his marriage with Haya numerous time, yes he has said he loves Meerub and she is his wife but I don’t remember the scene where he tells Haya how Meerub or he signed a contract. How many times Haya said 'does Meerab love you?' or 'Meerab doesn't love you' .. why didn't he say ''It is none of your business madam haya".. didn't he let Haya poison his mind when Meerab was thrown out of his house? He was ready to let go Meerab then. What didn't Haya say at that time. At least Meerab was discussing her marriage with an only friend whom she got to talk to after a long time. What was Murtasim doing when Haya was spilling all the filth against Meerab.

Murtasim recklessly driving the car and getting into accident is Meerab's fault. Murtasim liftofying Haya is also Meerab's fault because Meerab is not confessing her love and fulfilling Murtasim's huqooq.

I don't think this was ever supposed to be an ideal love story with just fluff and unproblematic characters. The teasers already hinted at the terrible mess, one after another.

7 teasers and all screaming of doomsday.

Either of the two were always going to be in the wrong. And Meerab looking away from him in the posters while he has her eyes set on her was always telling.

Take the first poster of the show. They have their arms wrapped and eyes locked but it is he who is holding her more fiercely. His eyes have love, while hers have more of that surprised look. Far-fetched analysis but I believe whoever directed the posters shoot did a good job.

There is a huge difference between pre and post marriage Murtasim, we have discussed it again and again that now he know how it feels to be in love, Saying No is never easy and especially when you empathise with that person. He allowed all this things and I am not pretending that these didn’t happen, because it did. And if we are on to counting the things then let’s accept that Meerub was the one who gave Haya tha chance she wanted for so long, she never did her wifely duties, He did stand up for and with Meerub. And about the shallow part no, it doesn’t define this there are people in your life who holds more importance and Anwar is like a father for him and MB is his own mother of course their lives takes precedence over haya, when your loved ones in danger you tend to shut your brain down, that’s what I am trying to say.
