For all those who are wondering as to WHY did Murtsum’s behaviour NOT disgust me when Haya was feeding him sitting on his bed etc…..it’s because , first of all he has done enough to redeem himself if at all there was any need to. He can not do more than trying to give up his life to save her. Secondly , he went in this marriage with a clean heart ( thinking Meerab has no hatred for him anymore ) whereas that was not the case with Meerab . Talking about your marital status is an insult to the man you married , the man who has gone against his mom for you, who risked his life so you could live.

He could have but then what difference it would have make between Haya and him, he is kind of a king in his area and have you ever seen a king giving undue importance to kids?? He placed flowers in his room for Meerub and it clearly shows that Haya can steal what she wants but his love is reserved for Meerub.

Anwar, MB and Meerub meant more to him than haya and I explained his mindset in one of the posts above that how the leader in him has to take precedence over the family man.

It is not like Meerub’s insecurities are trivial for him it is haya who holds no importance to him and he have stopped haya entering their room but like I said she is too delusional and understands only why she wants to.

@bold : why should Haya be able to steal anything at all? Why tolerate her behavior, her attitude and her chichorapan?

Why are all the rules applicable only to Meerab and Mariam? Haya gets away with everything.

If Haya is so insignificant..why are her words affecting Murtu? And why is he having these conversations with her.

It didn't look like Murtu was stopping Meerab from going with him because of his concern for her. And if the situation was truly dangerous he would not have taken Haya also because after all she's family.

Even after the black magic truth comes out, Haya will only be chided and then she will move on to doing something bigger. Haya is so delusional cannot be used as a defense all the time..Murtu refusing to deal with her and then falling in some trap later will not fetch him any sympathy. I told you so will echo from all directions then.

I don't know if you are referring to my post but I said that Murtasim has discussed Meerab with Haya numerous times. He has discussed his marriage situation with Haya as well. How many times Haya said 'does Meerab love you?' or 'Meerab doesn't love you' .. why didn't he say ''It is none of your business madam haya".. didn't he let Haya poison his mind when Meerab was thrown out of his house? He was ready to let go Meerab then. What didn't Haya say at that time. At least Meerab was discussing her marriage with an only friend whom she got to talk to after a long time. What was Murtasim doing when Haya was spilling all the filth against Meerab.

Meerab returning the ring deserved to be talked about more.

I don't think this was ever supposed to be an ideal love story with just fluff and unproblematic characters. The teasers already hinted at the terrible mess, one after another.

7 teasers and all screaming of doomsday.

Either of the two were always going to be in the wrong. And Meerab looking away from him in the posters while he has her eyes set on her was always telling.

Take the first poster of the show. They have their arms wrapped and eyes locked but it is he who is holding her more fiercely. His eyes have love, while hers have more of that surprised look. Far-fetched analysis but I believe whoever directed the posters shoot did a good job.

some of the posters are excellent in terms of capturing the theme. I did a long analysis on one of them.

The most distasteful thing in this whole sequence would be ......if they consummate because of the family , people (who have come to know and the pressure).

Also if Rohail starts the rumour of murthu being impotent then ek teer pe do Nishaan. One hand murthu will be painted impotent and meerab will be painted characterless.

The main reason is I am defending meerab is she didn't claim to love murtasim, didn't made big claims like he did.

So I don't expect her to do anything except emotional cheating.

And she didn't do emotional cheating by rejecting rohail proposal, not taking his ring.

If I am not wrong she never promised murtasim that she won't disclose about contract to anyone.

It was murtasim who threatened her by saying should I disclose about contract to family members.

And her friend already knows about her forced marriage. He obviously know meerab isn't happy in the marriage. Had there was no pregnancy issue in her mind, she wouldn't have revealed about that. That scene was like she was stressed about pregnancy thing so she unintentionally blurted out.

She didn't even met rohail eyes properly in the whole conversation. She was blabbering whatever she went through to a friend.

Even if we think she did wrong. That is nothing compared to what murtasim doing with haya despite claiming to love and respect meerab.

It is he who made huge claims about love, so I will definitely expect more from him than meerab who till now struggling to accept her marriage.

We take rings as gestures of professing love between partners. But don't gajras do the same?

Haya stole away the gajras, wore them, and flaunted them in front of his wife, while all Murtasim could manage to do is say, 'kya ho gaya yaar?'

He should have reprimanded her then and there. To hell with whether Haya will feel bad or whatever.

Did she returned the ring..... I couldn't watch the episode.
