They will slap some BS ulterior motive behind her silence and her characterless character will yet again emerge clean and pristine, free of all malice.
I wonder to what ridiculous lengths they'll go to justify her behavior today.

The way the plot lines go, sometimes it feels like the makers temporarily forget Anupama is the titular character, and they make her suffer and then they make her look bad and worse and worst until someone else reminds them:
"Dude...what are you doing, remember the name of the show?"
"Yeah Anupama, so?" Realisation dawns. "Ohhhh...oh sh*t....
...but no no, it's okay, we have a specific group of writers whose only job is to come up with justifications - we can still do damage control, anyway we have done this multiple times before!"
....
"So this is what you have to justify"

Called the justification gang in the inner circle, they intently watch today's episode.
Some start scribbling away their ideas furiously, some look absolutely horrified.
"We know, we know, this is a challenge"
There was a very loud silence.
"Dude, this is easily the most toughest challenge you've given us yet. Anupama looks like a psychopath"
"But this has happened before and you guys have turned her back into a goddess in no time!"
"But this time...this time it's is too much. That looks like straight-up abuse"
The silence grew heavier, until from the far corner, a small voice spoke up. "I think I have an idea"
