She was one of the few Bollywood celebs that made it to SSR funeral and penned down a eulogy. She was also one of the few that did not make him feel ostracized while alive. She was friendly with him. She was also one of the very few caught speaking highly of him on camera while he was alive. She comes across as a nice girl. That is why this dumb statement came as a surprise.

Imagine, if she feels like an outsider in the industry, being so connected and having a famous father, and a famous Aunty. It makes me wonder what the real outsiders are made to feel.

Isnt she also related to the Mangeshkars?

She indeed seems to be a very friendly, kind woman...even airport employees said that.

And yes, it was unfortunate to use this word as she can't have any idea how a real outsider feels. She herself could feel being outside of certain circles but that isn't synonym with "outsider".

Why did she breach her contract with Aditya to make Ashiqui 2 instead of Aurangzeb?

I think that was a good choice. Aurangzeb was trash anyway, no one even remembers it now. Aashiqui 2 is a memorable film and got her a lot of recognition throughout India, even though technically it was her third film. Her character Aarohi became super popular and this film made her an overnight star. I don’t know what’s with YRF deals though, have heard from a lot of people that they make newcomers sign a 3 film contract with them and in between you can’t sign any other production house movie.

It is always difficult to survive ---there are inner inner group and then middle inner group and then outer inner group and then comes-- Outsider

it goes step by step and they want to keep there own image--inner group-- by hook or by crook

BW and there some fans and paid people as well-- dont want others to survive --it is surruounded by toxic thinking-----
