ARK is known only for Aashiqui 2. I doubt masses remember him for anything else. He lacks versatility and looks best only in sad or intense roles.

I have hardly seen him do action, comedy or lighter roles.

He is hyped only online. He looks good but lacks that watchable star or entertainer quality. His script sense is bad and he hardly interacts with public or masses. Barely does any ads or award shows either. He is too reclusive.

Yeah he didn’t click much in commercial movies but he can totally shine in Ads, web series and modeling.

He is one of the most good looking in BW along with Sid.

I know that Aashiqi 2 is very popular. But neither of the leads impressed me. Usually I can't stand the Devdas types who drag other people down with them. Both the leads seemed kind of bland. There's a fine balance to being a self-destructive aashiq. Plus the original Aashiqi had a positive message with the hero's mother telling him to put his ego in his pocket and get back with his successful girlfriend.

It was yet another re-make of A Star Is Born. Over many decades several stars have been Oscar nominated for it and none of the performances have been bland or even mediocre. If an actor or actress can't make those roles and that dynamic sing then they're the problem.

Imraan Hashmi hardly gets movie offers anymore. It is really working well for him that Aditya should try to emulate his career choices.
