That is not happening. Murtasim is head of the village, he can't give that up and no one can do his job. No I see him self exile if Meerab leaves him, but he will always be head of the family.

Wild new theory:
Shahnawaz cheated on MB. Brought on another wife or side chick. Then he of course died early. Murtasim had to grow up too soon and take over. Murtasim probably even was the first to discover his father’s affair. Supporting points:
- MB says today wife should watch husband closely
- Murtasim says on terrace after valima slap that Maa has been through a lot
- Murtasim had to embrace new responsibilities, let go of his chahat (career/passion) and became bitter
- Murtasim tells Haya ‘mujhe nafrat hai un aurton se Jo paak damni ka dikhawa karke mardon ko apna haseer? Banati hai’
I thought he was so good in Fitoor. He was a drug addicted, obsessed lover so definitely not a positive character but he showed his vulnerable side so well. I felt like his acting was the best thing about that show. He played Hamza so well. I watched Ishq Jelebi as well and he does comedic roles so well too. Im kind of blown away by his range. He plays Saad really good too but it just moves so slow, he’s treated like crap by Maheer and most of his family and Areeb and his annoying family are eating into his screen time. I think the channel knows about his popularity because they focus on him in the teasers but he needs more screen time. People just aren’t invested in Areeb.Originally posted by: FireSafireFiree
Yumna was right. Wahaj is pretty sad guy. He always takes sad sad character!! I think thanks to yumna and her persuasion he took Murtasim character. Glad to see him in this role.
I have watched all his other, Fittor was the 1st drama and there I was like he is ok, but very petit however handsome.
tere bin is a boost to his acting carrier, but I can’t say the same for Saad.
He needs to be like yumna or Billal , their character choice is pretty bold.
