Honestly idk about directors but for these writer getting slapped is a normal thing it seems.
That slap was put in the script to grab eyeballs
But director and writer won't accept it
There was also a slap in MH but actors refused to do and when asked writer about the slap, she said when she was writing at that moment she felt so sorry for Hamza, he was going through so much that's why he slapped.
Similarly i saw how Tb's writer also kind of said similar thing. They really think if ML is going through alot at a moment than slap is justified.

That slap is the most absurd thing about this show and talking about it would be like going around in circles without reaching a conclusion, so I refrain.
That being said, I do not completely agree that a man who can slap once is sure to slap you twice, unless that man is known to have aggressive anger issues and is a certified a-hole to all women and men alike around him. Murtasim again, is not any of that. Regret, repentance and change is a thing and we have seen that in his approach towards her post that. This is no way of a defense for the slap because I equally despise it with all my being, it is just a general idea that I have drawn from his character.
Murtasim does have aggressive anger issues. He crashed a car because of he couldn't handle his anger properly and drived harshly.
