I agree with you. But I feel that the slap was not handled well. And also if they showed the slap as one of the reasons why Meerab was not able to accept Murtasim it would have made perfect sense. And people would have understood her situation better. If they showed the dilemma of Meerab, that a guy who can slap when he gets angry can repeat the same but at the same time he is very caring towards her, it made sense and it is understandable that she is not able to accept and she is not able to leave. We need a monologue of Meerab. In SH review they told that a guy who can slap once it can never be his last.

I think there has to be drama in drama and I maybe in minority or just a solo one with this opinion - that the slap was needed from a dramatic pov. Maybe they will talk about it later or maybe not. The makers got what they wanted- riled up the sane drama watchers & made everyone a critic. 😂

But as the writer said if we show everything like giving logical explanations there will be no drama just monologues. I know I’m not watching a Shakespearian play so not expecting the slap sc or the accident sc to end with a soliloquy. 😄

How did the slap happen- Murtasim always considered Meerub ill mannered, it was she who first said I feel like slapping you something like that & pushed him….. she happily riled up the guy who was already not wanting to marry her. And was already in fury & her blame game made him err and that is the conflict on which drama is going on. All his prem game & joru ka gulam vibes are his apology 😄😂

He tells Ma Begum that if we don’t respect Meerum the world will not. And he absolutely believes in it…..that’s why he stands like a rock in front of Meerub & Keeps defending all her actions. He knows he is dealing with a broken girl. He is helping her heal and giving her beautiful memories to erase the bad situation with her parents.

In Murtasim’s defense- he did not know what the girl was going through as regards to her parents & adoption. But when he found out he was feeling miserable. Just after slapping he felt very bad. He is not a slapper as some are saying he has done it once so he’ll do it again. He’ll never do it!
He accepted the contract gave up the bed & trying to fix the cranky wife with love & throwing her in the pool 😂

Accident- true he was driving but his wife had driven him mad 😡 😂 so it was an accidental error 😄

The drama started from the time Meerub decided to get married & said - I’ll make everyone cry and Murtasim took a silent promise to be her knight in shining armor. Come hail come storm he’ll be right there next to her protecting & taking care of her. Time & again he keeps repeating that.

Can’t wait for paani puri & gajra romance. 😍😄
