He was so freaking convincing that I have a hope that he will make sure samiya is taken care of. May be he won't be able to love her but he might not look down on her or take her for granted after marriage.

Samiya's dialogue that andh mein sab acha hoga might be a foreshadowing for her character. She will either rise from the ashes or Saif will grow some backbone and take a stand on his own. He isn't exactly a fattu as everyone thinks he is. He treats his mother and his gf pretty well but have a very submissive personality when it comes to his mother and shagufta who are both very dominating women. Both salman and Saif are brought up by single mothers and both are momma's boys. The only difference is Salman's mother is open minded and understands that her son should be given space and shouldn't be forced into a marriage. Salman will also obey his mother if she also starts being as stubborn as saif's mother. It's very rare when sons that grew up being so much attached to their mothers disobey them and completely go against them esp in our culture where mother's having the highest position in a child's life. They are consider even higher than gods.

After that scene, I am actually now interested in Samia Saif track. Will saif actually take care of samia like he promised. Will he able to take stand for her in front of his mother.

That one scene made said very interesting. No one knows what he is gonna do and how he is gonna deal with his mother, shaguftan and samiya after marriage.

I guess the maid's story is what kasf foundation wants to highlight and the rest is a family drama. there is not a single female character that's been degraded to just a one dimensional character. Even shagufta for whom samiya is the other woman don't hold any unwanted hatred for her. Some characters might be selfish and greedy but none are one dimensional and fully evil. So they are making sure not to degrade women for entertainment and that's very rare in dramas that air nowadays. There are multiple social issues and prejudice faced by women that's been highlighted in the drama.

The drama is not the one sending wrong message and we cannot do anything if aamna and Hassan find saif cute. Aamna even says meerab should give in and sleep with murtasim simply because murtasim is simp worthy and he is in love with her. That's way more problematic than finding a morally twisted character cute in funny scenes.

Yup I was disagreeing with the Aamna there.

I also love that they showed all characters as human. Thats why despite the chaotic execution I enjoy the drama

No matter how much they say they dislike each other salman will be there to help her and Aaliya likes that and don't resist him. Logically salman is not supposed to be present every time her car breaks down either 😆.

But, when its the starting scene of the entire show and the first five minutes itself is illogical then it does give a bad taste. Especially when its a slice of life drama. There should have been way more creative ways to show Salma being there for Aaliya.

I also feel that this show demands more patience from a viewer,,,script ki styling aisi hai ki ghaat bandhe jaa rahe hai….I feel the interest will really pick up when episodes of untying the knots will start.

I am not disagreeing with Hasan, he makes good points, but Pata nahi, I am putting on my patient hat with this show. It’s a novel that I can put down, and come back to it, I have no problem with a novel like that…every novel doesn’t need to be a page turner and can’t put it down…

Btw Pata nahi Kyun I feel it’s phupho’s wedding in the ost dildara, becos they have shown everyone except her. Becos she would be revealed in the bride outfit.

How is that scene illogical? The 2-3 meeting is too much of a coincidence i agree but not illogical. Her car is a khatara that keeps breaking down. Salman comes out and repairs it. How is repairing a car illogical? Khatara car breaking down is a very normal thing. It's the literal sign of change the car but obviously she cannot afford it. It's also indicated that Aaliya and Salman knows each other for 5-6yrs. So him helping her even though they pretend to not like each other is understandable. Even in a real life work place environment if there is a guy that one don't get along sees you in a difficult situation he will come out to help if he basically is a good guy.

Them meeting for the same reason multiple times is definitely too much of a coincidence and it's just the makers taking creative liberty but there is nothing illogical about the scene.

I also think it's phupho and tanvi's wedding and Aaliya runs off after salman proposes to her. In the first episode ost there is a glimpse of the scene right before she runs away and Salman has ring in his hands.

The most illogical scene was that soup one, Aaliya got a call to be at office within 30 mins and she wasted more than 30 mins in that soup fiasco 🥴🥴🥴

They should have simply edited out 30mins from that dialogue by asfar's sister. It could have simply been come to the office today.

She don't come off as very professional. Either take leave for the marriage or go to work on time.

Don't Pakistani companies have a dress code? She is wearing causal clothes to work and big earrings and wavy hair. Since sajal seems to have thick hair it looks unmanageable. I think in corporate world even if it's eastern wear employees are supposed to follow a dress code. I like her dresses in normal scenarios but not as an office going woman.

So true.

The problem with this drama for me is despite being illogical I did enjoy the soup scene. We dont see this small family moments in drama usually.

But in the back of my mind I was constantly thinking why is Aliya not going to office.
