In the prayer scene when he is staring at her and she stares back, he is taken aback as he looks away stunned he has just realized something, for me this is the origin of his romantic feelings for her. Meerab is crying as she pleads with god to not abandon her, Murtasim is in pain too as he looks up at the sky, not sure her prayer reached god but it reached him. This is when their love story starts, it was her plea to not be abandoned combined with him realizing his feelings and accepting her prayers as she becomes his responsibility.

If any one could pull of the shawl look its murtasim...I feel like the dargah scene when he starts running to look for meerab while his shawl flew that one shot unforgettable.

He set a new trend of shawl.

The director messed up real bad in the IV. He just wanted to give some reason for the slap and he thought that was the way to go about it. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
