frankly with the onslaught of shows PTV produces the star system is not sustainable. Even a Mahira khan and Saba Q don’t hold that mantle anymore. Today Sajal and Yumna are A listers when it comes to PTV but that’s their acting capabilities and less Star oriented,

As for Fawad, he doesn’t even want to do dramas and Faisal Q the less said the better

I won't say she is an average actress. Some of her scenes in mere Humsafar was amazing. The way she cried and spoke in some scenes literally looked like she has been emotionally and physically abused for real. That's not something an average actress can do.

The only thing i find over rated about her is her looks. She is a cute bubbly looking girl but i don't find her extremely beautiful.

Ok whatever but now her crying looks like that she is 5 year old and somebody snatched her lollipop

In ishiqya too she was the most annoying thing ever I couldn't finish the series because of her over the top acting

She is considered pretty only because of her skin color otherwise her features aren't that great

I feel there needs to be a balance. Faisal and fawad are standard for excellence yet one does every trashy thing out there and the others too picky.

Mpht is so boring and yes while wahaj is doing great in it, if the script is so bad then it's not enjoyable as a whole. Who wants to watch areebs mom, aunt and fiance scheme like 5th graders all day long 😂

Wahaj needs to do content heavy roles where the script flows and holds interest and generates dialogues amongst viewers. Do stuff like jbg, sare rah, Kuch ankahi, pinjra, dobara, raqeeb se type work with Tere bin or romance once in a while.

I agree as an actress there are certain character types she can pull off better than a Sajal and Yumna even - esp comedy.

However the obsession with her looks is purely because of her fair skin and photogenic face. She has no features to speak of at all. It’s like sayinb Mahira Khan is beautiful…I mean come on…did you see DP at the Oscars.. that’s beautiful! But then vohi tou hai na…”beauty lies in the eyes……of every industry that wants to sell you something”

Fawad Khan ❤️ i wish he did more dramas but he is into movies… but I heard he is doing a drama with sanam saeed for zee5 #excitedforthat

Mahira is pretty but she isn't some " hoor pari"

I used the word “flop” in terms of compared to TB. Very loosely. Yaar, it’s TV, thete is loads of shyte that gets views yaar, Tere Bin is no high quality stuff either buss execution mei dhamaka it is.

Episode 7

Already shared my thoughts on why Meerub agreed for this marriage.

But the highlight of the episode for me is MB and Murtasim’s conversation. Murtasim’s question to his mother that who I am to you and she answered that you are the heir.

This really shows that no one cared about him before Meerub, I was right that he suddenly didn’t fall in love with Meerub, the way she cared for him even if it was nothing from her side after his allergic reaction, it was everything for him. His own mother never treated him as a human being, for her he was the heir.

What was his past? Will they ever show it?? He said meri chahat thi, meri zindagi thi woh, we all have different theories on it, but one thing I can say after seeing his character is that he is not the guy who falls in love everyday so he definitely had a different life which he had to sacrifice, and from here comes my next question that was it not possible for Anwar to be the guardian of the whole property till Murtasim was ready? Why he was not given time to digest things?? What could have happened that changed them?? Everyone in the family knows this except Meerub, could this be the point in future to create distrust or misunderstanding between them??

There was another question which is answered in this episode, Many of you were asking that why Meerub thinks that Murtasim is responsible for her condition, it is because she overheard MB and Mariah’s conversation where M told MB that if Murtasim gets to know that Meerub is Anwar’s daughter he would be angry and MB said that he knows, whole family knows and Meerub was shocked to hear this so probably this was the point that she thought of taking revenge and before this she was genuinely marrying him. I mean by this it is clear that Meerub thinks Murtasim did this to make her agree for the marriage as his ego is hurt and she thinks it is all his plan from the start.

MB could have been strict patriarch but I don’t doubt her love for him. The sofa scene when he blushes she had this guy is lost case wala expression, that sort of exchange only happens when there is certain comfort in between mother-son. She is just a mother who want her son’s happiness, her ways may not be showing in words or actions but she does love him in way she knows!

When he tells MB - chahhat line did u see he was looking at wall , there is a sketch hanging on wall , at first I assumed it must be girl but then I was why would he hang the sketch there in common room then when u look around there are many more sketches hanging so my guess Murtasim was painter but for sure there is no girl involved.

I am still not convinced that meerab ever had any revenge idea in her head, she is naive ,happy go lucky types whose whole existence was shaken and then this wedding was thrown on her face . she was too shaken with all happenings and probably didn’t hve so much space in her brain to sit and plot revenge. But if creative team has come up with such twist , It will be something I didn’t see coming and will say she will make an awesome lawyer !

I think it depends on the character and the director.some actor's are director's actors and their acting is as good as the director's capability.

I never considered ayeza to be a good actress till i saw her in chupke chupke. She can do comedy really well and not many leading ladies can pull off comedy effortlessly. Even yumna did a little overacting at the initial episodes of pks before she got settled with the character but ayeza never went over the top with meenu and she got the role at the last minute and she was a replacement for another actress. She not only acted well but came up with a unique look for the character in such a short time as well.
