I think murtasim family members questioned her character not murtasim. Jump scene may turn out to be as pool scene where their ego clash. There are chances murtasim himself will prove meerab innocence infront of everyone.

I felt odd when I saw Murtasim asking her to jump. I think it might be between both of them. The matter will not reach the family members. Because when she stopped him and said 'mujhe apne character pe shak bardash nahi hai' only he was there (May be one house help was also there). What do you think what promise will he ask her to make?

Don't have idea about the promise. Next week we may get some clarity.

But he didn't look angry in that sequence. So he was doing all that for a reason.

More than audience or anyone, murtasim understands meerab very well. He knew where she is coming from, why she is behaving like that. After her reception stunt, when she said whatever she did was the reaction for what she faced. His entire demeanour changed after that. That night he had the flashbacks of her getting slapped by his mother, reaction dialogue, her taunting him jaisa maa vaisa beta.

He ate fish despite the allergy to test how she will react. And he was happy when he got positive response. She cares for him enough to take the help of the person who she doesn't consider her father.

Like that he was testing her reactions through his actions every now and then. It's like meerab was intersting mystery which murtasim love to decode.

In the night dinner date out we finally found out why he loves her so much. He said her eyes show love even when she is angry, her mouth is raging but her eyes are tranquil. In the morning after the fish incidence, when they are having their private breakfast time he is teasing her, she gets pissed off and wishes him dead, horribly wicked thing to say but he looks on affectionately staring at her as if seeing something special in her we don't see. Meerab is a puzzle to others even to herself, but Meerab through Murtasim eyes he has her figured out early on.

Yes with a monologue, it would have been easier to understand the actual meaning it had.

But the audience had the liberty to interpret it differently n it got related to their 1st night together after d contract breach. 😆

In the downstairs when she was about to hold his collar he looked a bit angry. But in the upstairs he did not look angry. I feel that he somehow got to know about Rohail and was not listening to Meerab's explanation. The expression she gave when Murtasim was going towards dinning table was like he was ignoring her and not ready to listen to her.

Obviously, the script is written to show Murtasim as a hero in every track.
