ok. This one is from my days in US as a student. I made a friend who was one year junior. We became amazing friends like you wouldn’t believe ekdum fataaafat. Log to humey actually kappal samajhne Lagey. Before I even realized I had fallen.

Talk for hours. Go for lunch dinners together. Even bday. Parks etc. Just 2 of us. If I was just walking by and she was there. She would seek me out and call out and we would start yapping. Job fair hoga to we see each other and forget about job and start yapping🤣🤣🤣. Plan to be there at happy hours. think you get the idea. She shared things that perhaps 2 people in the world knew types.

Well. Long story short. I fell for her in this process. Pretty hard. She had totally friendzoned me to my disappiiintment and next week she found a date. I was like. Hmm. She was (and am sure is) an awesome gal :)

To this day - I refer to her as the one that got away.

She had a good chance this time. Her family is supportive. Her mother wanted her to take a divorce and start afresh but she went back to him.

yaar when people are in love with someone and have been with them for a while, they often fall into this toxic cycle which is hard to escape. hopefully she's able to come around and see past his BS and do what's best for her
