Full on gaslighting of meerab character. They don’t acknowledge any of her pain or trauma, they have turned her into a cardboard cut out. They even take way her right as wife to question Murtasim over haya, they called her a hypocrite, if she can lead murtasim on then he can lead haya on. They have striped away all the nuances of what it means to have sex in a marriage, especially what the act of making love means to a woman versus a man and reduced it to just pure carnal pleasures. I thought we we are watching a romantic drama, not game of throne. Sex and rape in game of thrones is a power move, but in a romantic drama sex it is an expression of love no not lets just do it act. Meerab is surely threatened by Haya, I don't get why they said that.

Her reactions to Haya and her advances towards Murtasim are not just stemming out of jealousy, it is making her insecure in an already wishy-washy marriage. She is flipping out, being fidgety and making her concerns obvious to Murtasim time and again. Every time Haya pulls some audacious stunts, she gets visibly shocked. It is not just some cute jealous anymore.

I am totally blaming this on Murtasim. It is him being way too ignorant towards Haya's issue and underestimating her obsession for him when she has blatantly fed him lies about his wife leaving him on hospital bed, which is concerning.

His sympathy with Haya hardly makes sense after he has ousted her multiple times from his room before marriage.

He got successfully manipulated by Haya into believing Meerab left him, when he claims to 'love' her. But the truth is, he does not trust her yet. It is a long way to go. For starters, he can stop being lenient to Haya and make some efforts in making his wife feel secure.

Oh that comment on saree had me rolling my eyes. It all depends on the way you drape it, the fit of the blouse, but it's the most preferred everyday outfit for most women in our subcontinent. I don't how they derive such absurd conclusions.
