Yes the movie is very long and some scenes do drag and could have been shorter..but overall this movie really creates a world in your heart and has that feel good factor we haven't experienced since such a long time

Luv has handled it really well like he does with most of his movies. His superb trait is that he really works on the ensemble cast making sure each and everyone looks authentic and shines not only the lead actors and this is exactly why this movie scores..you really feel you are getting to know this family, the dynamics look real because A) luv handles it with conviction and gives ample time and depth to each character out there B) because of each and every actor doing a pretty good job

The star of this movie is Dimple. What an entertaining performance, everytime she would be onscreen, i would be smiling or laughing. Boney kapoor acts so well. i have never seen that before. All the other family members..be it dadi or the sister are so so good, also the one who plays the friend and his to-be wife

Ranbir always acts well, give him any genre and this actor shines. I just sincerely hope they do a better job with his hair because it is really distracting and it sucks when it happens to an actor of ranbir's calibre. I am sure with today's treatments and techniques, we can see a much better job which doesn't look fake or distracts you this much. Makeup and hair team, take note please!

Shradha kapoor is a superstar. This girl is FIRE. Okay we all say she cannot act..but guys we all know we definitely don't put her in same league as jackie, nargis or even katrina. She is surely not a powerhouse actor but the girl has actually acted pretty well in this movie. She shines in every scene, her dialogue delivery ,which has been her weakest point, was pretty good and her expressions on point. She for sure is much ahead the likes of kriti, ananya, janhvi, parineeti, sara etc in terms of acting and she looks GORGEOUS. I mean in every frame, every song, she looks out of the world. What a beauty! Shradha perhaps is the only one from the younger lot who can act decent and look a million bucks along with good dancing skills and solid screen presence. She really is a star!!

Kartik and Nushrat's cameo was amazing!!

The last 15 min of the movie are superb and hilarious..like it was performed so well by everyone..the end credits also touched my heart.

Songs are all amazing and beautifully picturized

Yes there are loopholes, movie is too lengthy and the scenes where they are talking but not recognizing each other's voices was a bit too much and inconceivable. The movie does drag sometimes and a tigher editing could have helped. It is entertaining but if i am to say, not close to the level of entertainment STKTS was..but overall..it brings a smile to your face and i was happy to get a rom-com which does that after ages.

3.5 stars

Guys give this a chance..

LOVEEEE THIS review.

I’m confused about your comments about Ranbir’s hair ? What’s wrong with his hair ?

MAY CONTAIN SPOILER

It is not his hair entirely..its hair weaving and even thats fine..the problem is that is looks so in your face fake..and more so in this movie than ever..if you may see this movie again in cinema..in the start of the movie when ranbir meets shradha for the breakfast in open air..see how his hair moves..its very clear it is weaving but i feel they could do a better, less obvious job..also they are using marcara to define his hairline and make it look less receding..overall i found it distracting but he looks good otherwise

I noticed that sacnik and Taran daily results correspond...sacnik, too, seems to be a relatable site (and I think that they aren't biaised in any way). So, I eagerly wait for tomorrow and their numbers 😉.
