The last kdramas that I absolutely loved was homecha and red sleeve. After that none of the kdramas made me invest that much attention on them. Little women was good and the last kdrama i followed while it was onair. After that I only binge watch kdramas here and there. Not that invested in any. None of the new set of actors are impressive to me. I only like the MLs from alchemy of the souls and 18 again. They both are amazing actors. Rest of them are more of a pretty face than good actors.

Hometown cha cha was so light hearted and so warm , I just loved the sizzling warm chemistry between the two

18 again was a good drama as well.

But i remember the fan war during the startup. Kim seon ho vs nam ji hyuk fans. It was crazy on my drama list and i was team seon ho😎. I didn't really care about him not getting the girl as suzy's character was a snoozefest but didn't like how they wrote his storyline. He deserved better.

He got his ending in hometown cha cha.

Another poster give them credit they pointed out how Murtasim is like the father of the story, and Meerab is the mother. That is a nice descriptions of their characters, yes when they are with each other in their tu tu mein mein mode they act like kids, but for outsiders they are the leaders caretakers of others. Yes the approaches are different, but their goal is the same, he is the stick the enforcer to her outrage, symbolically when he grabs the danda that is my job darling. We are not opposites attract, we are one and the same.

Whatever jealousy Meerab might have for Haya aside, she really is like the elder sister reprimanding her, in all of their arguments she makes it clear to Haya that she needs to value her self first, where is your self respect, girl get a grip don't waste your life. Large part of her irritation with Murtasim is also because she thinks he leads her on purpose, as a woman she finds it offensive, and she is absolutely right on this front.

We never got many scenes with Maryam, but Meerab promised she will always be on her side. We focus too much on Meerab feistiness because all her scenes are with Murtasim, but forget the fact that when she is around others she is the wise one, their defender and protector. Yumna has that quality in her acting she can come off cute and naive, but when she stands tall she is taller than even Murtasim. A true power couple.

Haya in that one scene when she is at his feet, am I not prettier than her, am I not more obedient than her, and she doesn't even love you then how can you marry her. Murtasim is like my girl is the prettiest outside and inside, I don't want an obedient wife I want character, and I promise all the gods she will love me only, now get lost.

If you genuinely hated someone you wouldn't want to touch them, their mere presence would disgust you. But Murtasim was always too quick to grab her wrist dragging her here and and there. Meerub with her poking and shoving. It might not have been love, but it was definitely that only I can treat you like this kind of behaviour. How the post slap incident was dealt with, Meerab should have hated his guts thrown her chappals at him, but instead it had this whole I am so disappointed in you vibe how could you do that to me. If it was any other man I can't imagine her sitting down to have a chat with that person she would be barking gaalis. I hate that slap sounds like I am trying to justify it, but in the context of the story the director was trying to pull off this only Murtasim can slap Meerab and get away with it. I repeat WRONG WRONG WRONG but it is what it is.

I am curious to see how the Rohail track will play out. Is it more of a male chauvinistic vibe or more you were always mine how dare you like anyone else. Meerab too when she questioned Murtasim about Haya was furious so what went on before you married me, she was not willingly to tolerate that he could have had any feelings for Haya before he married her. She keeps bringing that up if Haya was there why marry me, it grates on Meerab nerves that Murtasim and Haya could have ever been close. Meerab has shown her level of possessiveness of Murtasim with her attitude of he better never had any chakkar with anyone else. Now Murtasim being the guy is going to ratchet up that level of possessiveness over Meerab to a 100. Feeling or no feelings, love or no love, hate or no hate. neither will tolerate a third person between them.

When she had breakdown due to her adopted parents leaving her, no one cared to console her including her own father. But murtasim went and gave his hand to her. He just can't see her cry. It is beyond sympathy because he always ready to console her despite getting rude behaviour from her.

Despite saying I don't need ur support, meerab goes to murtasim when she needed help. She trusts him enough to ask any favour from him. And he didn't fail her too. Took her to karachi not caring for anyone. He himself looked surprised when maa begum point outed how he did all these for her which is why there's something special about her.
