Katha Ankahee -- #11 daily episode DT - Page 29

I liked yesterday's episode. It didn't even strike me when she was playing with Aarav the other day, but only with Viaan it became obvious that she has some sight issue.

So it's good that Viaan figured it out and helped her also realize the issue.

It was actually fun how Viaan realizing coz she got Katha's dress color wrong and Neerja teasing him for that particular part. It was cute. 😆

I actually quite liked the episode today...there is a gentle calmness, consideration, deliberation and focus in everything that Viaan does for others around him which is truly heartwarming. And I simply love Adnan as Viaan...he has an easy charm, a heartwarming smile and endearing demeanor❤️!! Whether Viaan is with Jitu Bhai, Aarav, Neerjaji or even Ehsaan he is all heart and so genuine you can't help but love him and trust him. I love his equation with everyone far more than when he is all tongue-tied, moon-eyed around Katha. Its interesting what the makers are trying to do here...they are establishing for us the audience as well as for everyone that matters to Katha that Viaan is a golden boy if you can overlook the ONS incident. And Viaan is trying to make Katha's life easier without letting her know which is way better than an unwanted confession and rejection from Katha.

Infact today he reminded me of Mr. Darcy (PnP is my ever favourite romance novel) trying to fix things around Lizzy without her knowledge once he fell head over heels in love with her while she still despised him. I know a lot of us are not so impressed or invested in Dodo's story because of the miscasting of the actress playing Neerja (though she is adorable but not atall convincing as a senior citizen facing harrasment from grownup sons) but this is not so much about Dodo as it is about establising Viaan's character. The makers are taking a risk by barely having any real interactions between the ML and FL esp after the very intense poetic and beautiful love realization of the ML. And there is no drama, the villians and vamps are cooling their heels as of now, some seem to be even turning a bit positive (Viaan Ehsaan scene today reminded me of the initial bonding between these two), the episodes are in natural calm flow right now.

I am reminded of the only lines from that Maharani's lecture on love to Viaan which made sense to me then and which I knew will someday become the story of Katha and Viaan. 'Baat yeh nahin ki Ranjhe ne Heer se kya kaha ki woh Ranjhe ki ho gayi, Baat yeh hai ki Heer ne Ranjhe main aise kya dekha ki woh khud Ranjha ho gayi' ...and that is where the makers are taking KaViaan relationship. So its not Viaan telling Katha how important she is to him or expressing his love which will make Katha fall in love with him, but it is what she will see in him, who he really is that she will willingly become a part of him.

So I guess we need to be patient for Katha to colour herself in the colours of Viaan.

And Mango...you will get the drama once Katha and Viaan start getting closer...it will come in large dollops...they are all waiting in the wings for Heer to fall in love🤣!!

I echo your thoughts, lately I have observed lot of negative comments on the show, that is the norm though you cannot satisfy all of your audiences, there are bound to be critics but I have been enjoying the show so far , though some episodes were not so much exciting as some but I like the way they are taking forward the love story. Viaan's redemption was cut short probably because everyone of us including katha had forgiven him too soon , may be this is a way to show his going extra mile to make Katha's problems go away and make people around her happy so that she is happy.It is a beautiful way of showcasing someone's love. Also there is no harm in showing some random acts of kindness , we all do that sometimes just to make ourselves feel better and make a difference of our own in world around us.Vada pav scene was not to put in your face Viaan's kindness on your face but to set a base for his act of kindness with dodo later.

Forgot to mention in my previous post, that I also liked Ehsan and Viaan's conversation. Ehsan has his own issues, insecurities, but the guy does have his heart in the right place. Otherwise he'd not have had tears when he realized that the place he has in Viaan's heart and life, is still untouched.

The guy still values his friendship a lot, and that melted his heart very much.

Just hoping they don't turn him like a super evil villain just for the sake of it.

the more I think about it, the more I think this dodo property plot arc is bakwas. 😆 instead of dodo, am for the naughty sons to create mayhem. 😂 go bacho go! stir the pot, lets have some masala!! 😂

Also today is Friday. It's supposed to be a fun day. But fun is totally gayab from this forum😕 Why ?

Holi is over. In our show it's not yet started. Makers need to buckle up. Story should proceed little fast.

Seriously this Dodo track lacks depth and far from reality. No one is able to connect with her story. I am still confused about her financial status. 😆 After her husband's death the property should go to her. If she doesn't want to give to her son ,then it's perfectly fine.

But Viaan giving double money to her sons to settle down the matter is beyond my understanding. Itne ache log kahan se aate hei.😆

actually that is not how the law works. did you read my law rant in mili's thread -- see here

what viaan is doing is potentially bringing legal trouble on himself especially as he is in architecture. it can come across as those dubious property developers who do shady stuff to acquire property. dumb to say the least. the whole track is far far from reality. I really dislike when they show stupid stuff about the law -- common people should not misled about the law just for story's sake.

I also dont like that the ML is using his considerable wealth & privilege to win the FL over indirectly by solving her worries. I like the way he supported Aarav by encouraging him. I wish he wld do something similar for Dodo, by giving her courage, maybe getting her some legal advice courtesy his company legal team. But not throw money to smooth the path.

It is because they are showing Viaan do that, is that they feel compelled to show his feeding the kids, as if to compensate & tell us that he is not just ruch but also big-hearted.

I wish they could be more nuanced.

it does feel a bit cheap -- the writers want to show that he is good but instead it almost comes across as he is trying to buy her good opinion indirectly. so aarav and viaan's interaction was normal and had no hint of bad intent. interfering with dodo just comes across as weird. who gets involved in a property dispute and tries to mediate when you barely know the person and don't even know the family? like you said, directing dodo to a legal team would have been more normal. him getting involved and trying to buy off the sons looks shady. as I keep repeating myself, I don't see the point of this arc unless dodo ends up being the gold digger mistress. this plot and character adds nothing to the drama. she could have just disappeared after the operation. why is she still here??????
