Just adding that I am not supporting Maaya here.

I personally know people who have left their girls in a shelter home in Mysore to study on the trust funds money simply because they cannot feed them. I visit there sometimes and donate money and some girls are very attached to my husband and me, but doesn't mean that I can just walk away with one of the girls and the shelter home will look the other way.

So there is complete logic to someone poor leaving a child and coming back when they have enough money. But she lost me when she made getting Anuj her priority.

The problem is with makers introducing such problematic tracks for the sake of drama, while claiming to be a realistic and progressive show. Why introduce a bio mother angle at all? Because if they do, MaAn is bound to disqualify, however good parents they might be.

I will not blame protagonists in shows like Naagin or Nazar when they get away with murder, but this show sells itself claiming to inspire orthodox households to become progressive and yet does the opposite.

Do she had legal bond with orphanage that she is leaving her kid for this much year , she can not be given for adoption? Anupama devki or yasoda se to comparison nhi karungi but maaya is not less than demoness putna for me like she stole CA in precap . Which country law give permission to biological mother to leave their kids in orphanage?

Yes they are facilities where children can be left temporarily, don't you know? So many parents who are helpless due to circumstances do that so why ask such a question at all? You don't need to have a bond with such institutions to leave your kid and kindly stop mocking parents who are actually in a situation like this.

Only replying to this part, yes orphanages willingly take kids in where parents leave them either because of their inability to bring them up or because they don't want them. Please don't go by movies where the orphanage caretaker used to look for who left the baby so that he can give it back to them. It was because they need them to sign necessary forms.

Sad or not, in India and most other countries, biological parents have first right on a minor and can only be seperated from them if it can be proved that they're a threat to them, physically, mentally, emotionally or are financially exploiting the child. If you think a child is being harrassed, it needs to be reported to child services help line and have the parents arrested, only then they can be adopted by someone else without questions.

Just because a "better set of parents" is available, a biological parent cannot be made to lose their child.
