Ekta was the producer and she wanted the storyline to go one way and Rajeev didn't. It still wasn't Ekta who asked him to leave. It was Rajeev that quit, as he wasn't able to relate to a few scenes any longer & probably didn't approve of the Sujal-Charu track.

Ekta let him go because she was hard headed too, but she always kept an eye at him and mentioned him in places and spaces. She recently worked with him on Haq Se on Netflix with Surveen (Charu) & Rajeev as a pair!🤣 So Ekta was just being Ekta!🤣

Although she loved the Sujal Kashish pair too and wasn't against them, but was trying to spice up the show (the wrong way).

Infact Ekta's family - supposedly her Dadi (Jeetendra's Mother) & Jeetu ji herself had asked her to do her best to retain Rajeev, as all of them were fans of him as Sujal.

He won the award for the Best Actor Male Popular for Left Right Left as Capt.Rajveer Singh Shikhawat and this was after he played Sujal.

The crowd were crazy when they announced his name🤪Ekta, Ram Kapoor, Rohit Roy (everyone had their eyes peeled in awe at the crowd cheering for him). The hosts Shekhar & Malaika as well are taken by a storm looking at the response to Rajeev's name & say who everyone is cheering for him.

This is similar to what Harshad was referring in the video I shared earlier - of how the crowds go crazy everytime Rajeev stepped on stage. True Stardom. (no one in TV has experienced this kinda stardom, not even Barun)

Yes the show was a spicy one already!😆She could've experimented in all other ways. Anyway, in those days social media wasn't that strong. Hadn't been toh log Ekta ki business bandh kara dete😆 if they got to know that Sujal was going to get hurt and Rajeev was leaving

I may be late to the party but why isn't anyone talking about Kya Hadsaa Kyaa Haqeeqat?

I was mad crazy about the show especially the stories Kaali Shakti, Kaboo and my top favorite Kab Kaise Kahan which was the vampire story inspired from Dracula where Hiten, Gauri and Cezanne's chemistry was flaming hot!!

Kids who praise PKYEK will never know how exciting that mini series was.
