Romance, falling in love, displays of affection well played by beautiful actors, likeable characters, with depth, emotion and sincerity should bring anyone joy not disgust.
When does pak tv turn love into ghaali. And it is not like they don’t enjoy romance in other shows from other countries. This selective outrage is only reserved for their actors. Man loving his wife isnt a western concept and isn’t reserved for anyone but Muslim. Irony being you guys speak Urdu considered the most romantic language, what waste to not promote it.
Maybe if they showed some more beautiful romance on tv, it would bring hope to so many people especially women who live troubled hard lives in a male dominated society like Pakistan.
True!
How did a wife holding her husband's hands become uncomfortable for them is beyond my understanding. These little gestures add depth to a lovestory and you remember the couple when you remember these moments.
You know, it's also unfair to the actors. Don't you think so? It's like boxing them into a certain criteria and viewing it from that angle only.
Give the characters some margin! To err! To fall in love slowly! To the wife to hold back her consent until she falls in love irrevocably with her husband! And the husband being patient with her! So many beautiful things to interpret from their current phase, but nah, they are on a different train.
Also, they should be knowing that the show will have romance from the posters itself. The hero and heroine have their arms wrapped around each other. It screams of romance and a lovestory between the two of them, which isn't obviously for kids. Watch it alone then or with someone you're comfortable watching with. There are family dramas as well, so they can change channels freely. Yeh kya fazool baatein
