I feel meerab character didn't get deserved justification.

She suddenly got to know her parents are not her real parents, her real father abandoned her at her birth by blaming her for her mother death, so she showed all those frustration towards murtasim which lead to unwanted slap, and then again getting abandoned by her adopted parents.

She has gone through so much. Murtasim is very clear in his thoughts. Because his life isn't much complicated. Nothing much changed for him except the fact that he got married to a girl who hates him.

But meerab whole life is changed. Her existence became questionable. It's not easy for her to act rational and accept her new life immediately.

Yeah they could have used another way to bring her out of the stupor. Jhinjhor ka hilana, chillana, anything???

Why a slap??.Murtasim is 7.5/10 for me till now .otherwise all his other characters make him 9.5

But yesterday I watched it's director's interview he said about slap scene of murtasim that after slapping her he keeps looking at her and in that moment falls in love with her coz he hasn't raised his hands till now on anyone. Good news is he said from now on he will not shoot such scenes in future projects and i appreciate this. This slap scenes should be banned especially from the person who will be your love interest in future . I can never love a man who had slapped me. Baar cheet mai kitna bhi lad ,marlo par violence nahi.

After this statement, he said murtasim always has that pull towards meerab because she rejected him. I feel after her parents truth and slap that attraction converted into attachment, after marriage it became love.

Agree with the point that the slap is extremely unnecessary.

But it became one of the main reasons why meerab couldn't trust murtasim completely.

When her mother in law slapped her, she showed more anger on murtasim by calling him jaisi maa vaisa beta.
