Reason for my question. Till now even if the marriage is indeed real, their relationship had not been. With Akshu's decision to progress, she has pretty much buried any chance of Abhir finding out about his real dad. Agree Abhi marrying had pretty much killed that but this decision by Akshu to me is the nail in the coffin.
I know some of you have views that Akshu is angry because Abhi couldnt recognise his own blood. To me that was an unrealistic expectation. If anyone knows Abhi, that is Akshu. She knows Abhi is extremely possessive when it comes to her. Him knowing she is married has blinded him completely. He is unable to think beyond. She also knows the man doesnt always see grey.
I accept she has every right to hide the truth from Abhi because he refused to listen to her. What about Abhir though. What is his fault in all this?. She has seen how drawn Abhir is towards Abhi. Lets accept she doesnt Abhir's to be heart broken because Abhi is getting married and she doesnt want Ruhi to be hurt. But we havent seen her contemplate this at all. I just feel she has only been thinking about her perspective not Abhir. She is happy to live in fear for life.
Share your thoughts please. Most of you know this is something I have not been able to digest at all. As you can see I am still having issues.

Apologize for barging in uninvited. Found your question very interesting so thought I'd add my own two cents.
Firstly, I have stopped following this serial post the first leap. So whatever progress I have gathered thus far is from going through various posts in this forum. Specifically the daily episode discussion threads.
Second, why the characters of this show do certain things most times don't make any sense, courtesy of the esteemed writers and creatives. So for all we know, they would brush it all under the carpet with some random explanantion in one episode or they are saving all her thoughts for the Abhira confrontation.
But if we keep the creatives creativity aside and assume Akshara is actually a woman and try to answer this question...
Is Akshu being unfair to Abhir - Not from Akshu's POV.
Why?
Let us assume she reveals Abhir's paternity. What are the sequence of events (from where she is currently standing and based on her past experiences with the Gorillas)?
1. Abhi would want to have Abhir with him.
2. His mom would pour fuel into the fire and he would either file for custody or both sides of the family would force them to reconcile for the sake of the child.
3. If he files for custody, law might be on her side but in the current situation, money is on his side. So for her, there is no guarantee that Abhir would remain with her. His family and he himself have already accused her and branded her as a killer. What's to say they would use that to declare her as an incompetent mother? Where would that leave Abhir? Away from the only known security and family and parents he's known all his life and amidst the Gorillas? Would any mother want that?
4. If she gives in to the pressure and reunite for the sake of the child, would Abhir be happy being away from Abhinav? WOuld Abhimanyu acccept Abhinav a permanent part of Abhir's life and Abhir calling that man "papa"? And above all, if in future, situation arises where there's another round of blame game and she is kicked out again, where would her son be? What impact would it have on him?
Heart of hearts, she knows hiding the truth is wrong but the fear that takes over a person when she contemplates any of the above scenarios clouds the judgement.
Bottomline - Lack of trust and fear.
