Manjari reluctantly tells abhi to bring akshara back just for the child but akshara refuses to ever go back in the house or to abhi and tells manish she wants to raise her child as a single mother as abhi has already divorced her so he has no right to expect her to come back to him.
Manjari is furious at akshara refusal to return. Abhi is grief stricken as he realises what mistake he made in his anger and requests manish to convince akshara at least for their child but manish refuses as abhi has already divorced her and ge tells abhi that akshara has full right to raise her child as a single parent now that he divorced her and nobody can force her.
Akshara tells goenkas she wants to go away and raise her child away from here. Kairav for once makes himself useful and suggests he can take akshara to London and they can live there whilst he also handles business there too. Goenkas agree this will be best.
Akshara and kairav move to London where stella also lives without birlas being informed.
Abhi and Manjari with rest of birlas come to goenkas to speak to akshara, but get to know kairav has taken her abroad to settle. Birlas and goenkas have an argument where each side blames the other.
Abhi, is broken hearing akshara has gone away forever and realises his own fault in the way he handled things wrongly and defends the goenkas that they did what they felt was right for their daughter and her to-be child as the situation and environment is not right at the moment for akshara to be able to deliver her child safely and take care of herself.
Kandmaata Fainteshwari throws a tantrum in front of both families to abhi that when the child is born they will fill custody case but abhi and goenkas protest this that it isn't right to take a child from a mother. Abhi convinces manjari and all to go back home whilst ge speaks with goenkas.
Abhi and goenkas after talking things out come to conclusion that once the child is born they will speak with akshara about coming back to india to convince her for co-parenting but until then nobody will bother her. Abhi will remain on good terms with goenkas.
Birlas will be pampering arohi whilst abhi similiar like first separation prefers loneliness and awaits in anticipation every month to hear about akshu and their child.
Goenkas get to know from kairav that akshara has delivered a boy. They inform abhi and birlas who are ecstatic. Abhi wants to speak on phone with akshara and she refuses.
Akshara tells goenkas over phone that she will be raising her child in London only and will not come back and will also inform them she is planning on becoming a lawyer and studying in london.
Goenkas inform birlas of her decision and despite manjari protest there is nothing they can do.
Goenkas regularly get updates about akshara and her child as well as pictures of abhir which they share with abhi and birlas. Manjari and abhi are emotional when they get to know akshara kept the name abhir.
Leap happens where akshu is now a lawyer in London living with kairav and surekha raising abhir.
Abhi is depressed as he waits in hopes akshara will return with abhir one day to udaipur and he will try and convince her. In meantime he helps arohi to raise roohi. Akshara in London has a new guy friend who is also lawyer who abhir is close with.
