Interesting...

There is another Ramayan that comes on ZeeTV. It is a repeat of an old one. I just watch it sometimes so I can compare the two and believe me the new one is much much better. But the interesting thing is that the mandavi in that show is the Kaushalaya is the new Ramayana. I was so surprised and thought I'd share this with you.

Oh wow - yeah I put on the a taped copy zee tv's ramayan - and presto! same actress. LOL she looks so young in zeetv.

when did they make the zee tv's ramayan? hav never heard of it....only last week or so. heard it wasnt that popular? y??

actually the zee tv ramayan was made by BR chopra who made the original mahabharat.... but it was just a flop show coz he took all the well known established faces of the tv as the characters

BTW mandvi in old ramayana is not kaushalya in new ramayana.The old mandvi come sin a serial called grihasti as the granny. Check again. New kaushalya is a marathi actress

the new kaushalya was jaychand's mother in early PRC...

I initially thought she meant Ramanand's Ramayan, but they actually mean B.R. Chopra's Ramayan...
