I did not listen to Ranbir's comments as I've decided to avoid listening to what he says in his public appearances...I decided to focus on him as an actor where he says lines not done by himself (I assume...hope).

Basically, I don't want to analyse how he comes across when not being in a movie...

Ah. Ranbir is back to his WTF statement era

Comedy shows are scripted. But he should have refused to give such a statement. In the end, the ounce lies on him and not on the scriptwriters. He is not a child

Agar bande ko bash hone mai itna hi mazaa ata hai toh koi kya hi bole . Jab kuch aacha nahi bol sakte toh much band rakha karo

Ok I haven't watched the clip but with my limited understanding of the Hindi language, I understand that he's saying that a guy will dwell upon a break up but a woman moves on rather quickly.

Ok first of all, he's starring in a 'Luv Ranjan' film so what else can you expect? That guy propagates the 'girl Vs boy' troupe in all his movies. I haven't watched a single film by him but heard an awful lot about how he portrays men as victims and women as antagonists.

In that case, did anyone think 'Tu jhooti, main makar' would be any different? No, it's following the same pattern.

Yes, Ranbir Kapoor makes silly statements and this falls in the same category but he is merely 'promoting' his film. They want to set the tune of the film.

he saying men when they breakup they go through turmoil( like letting themselves go). Whereas, women just go to the salon n move on to the next guy or with their daily lives as nothing happened.

I don’t think he should be. I think at most it’s a lame remark.
