I really liked the way her character handled the controversial deal! Katha and Aarav are ❤️. Aditi has done such a wonderful job as Kathaa. ( I loved that name, the show does have that Pakistani show vibes , maybe because of music or ambience or some dialogues that flow like poetry can’t figure out yet.

Girls drop everything and go watch gulmohar..it is the finest writing I have seen from a hindi film in say last 15 years and a far far better and more profound take which is so tenderly shown with so much depth and nuance it is sooo deeply enriching and layered.. every character has a proper track... from the matriarch toh the kaam Wali resume and chowkidaar jeetu..sab have importance in the plot..it is sooo beautiful and lives by the whole ek ghar main reh lete gain but har room main ek alag family base lete hain..and sharmila is just such a joy such poise grace elegance and class ahh..also loved Manoj 's Arun batra .. suraj has such a nice meaty role too.. I am so happy they can still make film with such writing organic is this.. it is far better film on dysfunctional family then Kapoor and sons in my opinion

LOL her husband was a total ass in the beginning of the story....he was horrible to Katha when she came to ask for help with Aarav's medical treatment. I toh started forwarding all their scenes from there only and now I really can't be bothered to know how much he has "sudhro-ed" and what layers have suddenly emerged....lol....he didn't even blink when he was told his grandkid is dying. Loser aadmi.

I watched 2-3 episodes of the show it turned crap pretty fast , stopped watching it right away.

Even now as I'm watching it, I'm finding it good but ab woh feeling itni nahin aati ki baith ke hype karo like Twitter pe har cheez ke caps daal ke fangirls are like GOALLSSS😆

The writing and execution is definitely good - crisp pace hai for the most part until some drama of Katha ke in-laws which I've started forwarding....lol but the office drama/build up is good so far and Katha's equation with her son and her friend is also very sweet. What's nice about Katha is that she is shown as a problem solver without trying to be the typical bubbly or extra self-righteous ITV FL....she is intelligent and resourceful and impresses pretty much anyone with the way she articulates her POV....she is good/smart without being a caricature and that's what's likeable. ML toh I also was feeling put off by cuz I remembered him from that lame Zee wala show but here he is ok types....acting range toh I'm not expecting much from him jitna I know of him from the Zee show but the writing is good for his character as well in terms of keeping it crisp/sharp. He's cynical about women/gold-diggers but it's not shown in as cliched a manner as typical ITV businessman ML...lol.....Even the supporting characters have well fleshed out roles so far in the office track so that's helping it all be more well rounded.

Katha- Aarav are ❤️. The have such a beautiful relationship . That kid is like a sunshine :) So much word to the fact that Katha is not shown to be a typical ITV lead. She doesn’t go around preaching or baatoing gyaan . She really doesn’t take crap from anyone atleast until now. And she does all that without giving lambe bhashan and therefore is so much more effective.

Yes, the show definitely has the vibe of Pakistani shows in the way the scenes are depicted and the type of music used....melancholic😆. That's the bread and butter of most Pak shows - depressive/melancholic music no matter how melodious 😆

Aditi is a good actress, no doubt but I really detest the excessive hero worship of her on all discussion platforms....quite tired of seeing her name dragged in everywhere to compare to every other character/actor.

I just watched the ONS epis....deffo well executed in the way they built up the dread, discomfort between the characters and Katha navigating all of that in her despair/determination. I was wondering how they are going to sell the fact that this guy went all the way in "testing" Katha as per his "logic" that he expected her to pull back at some point and spare them both the misery....lol....but they managed to execute it convincingly for the most part in navigating the grey area of consent between them on this matter. I am left wondering sometimes if these scenes could have gone to another level in the hands of a more nuanced actor.....Adnan is just about ok as of now IMO.....lol

Viaan's character would deffo have been up GM's alley....tortured/cynical soul hai😆....and show ki direction seems to be the kind GM would like....where they let the nuances linger...woh show, don't tell waala approach hai. Maybe GM also refused cuz again businessman character hai and he already did that in that Zakhm show na😆

I did not watch the scene but Ofcourse it gets mentioned in the later episodes. Certain things are really not pardonable and him refusing to pay for treatment is one of them. What I meant is they have these characters that are grey, not all goody two shoes neither completely off the hook black. Like in real life too there are people who would hold on to their ego and honor no matter what until it is too late. They just can’t see past their prejudices and their rigid mindsets.

I like how they have handled these absolutely unpardonable situations whether it be FIL or ML .
