so this part I have never understood…

He left his wife for money?!?! I didn’t get that. He had money..or he left his wife for another woman who was after his money. So therefore that woman is a gold digger. God,,,I am confused…so then he left the company to his son?!?! But stayed with the other woman and died in her arms?!?

exactly; thats why I am saying the narrative that viaan has received from his mother makes no sense. if she was a true gold digger, she would have come back for the company and money. she is not going to sit back and let the wife and son take it all when she has worked so hard to get his man on her side.

all of this is a story that teji told herself to make herself feel better that viraj left her because he despised her. my impression of the scenes that it was incredibly toxic marriage and viraj ran for his life.

Then we are not to take his comments in the initial episodes about Viaan seriously. That said, it is also possible that we are meant to forget the Ehsan of initial episodes, because his character did a 180…and this ITV writers are famous for.

I think Viaan wants to tell her that this past made him have questionable values or opinions regarding women, but instead they needed to spell it out because they knew she will have to subtly “forgive” and the whole dialogue cannot be couched in “subtlety”.

I loved the dialogue between them

it was really meh for me. it didn't have any of the punch that I am used to seeing when a character digs up a hidden wound. there should be more emotion and darkness and frustration from viaan. instead, it was all muted. I didn't get the sense he was seething inside which he should be. he didn't feel tightly wound up and ready to spring and in a choas of emotion. so I get the scene was for him to connect with katha but if I look at it from the point of his stupid view of women, I don't think the scene was written well. it lacked the bitterness and the kind of back and forth that should have happened. the sort of dialogue where viaan is asking why would some woman steal his family and the angry bitterness that he as a child had to deal with it all. instead, we are getting some sane clean version of viaan. all I can say is meh. 🤷

I completely empathized with Katha's loss, her pain, her happiness and her love. Aditi did so well and the dialogues tugged at my heart strings. To love someone so deeply and then to be seperated forever, it cannot be imagined unless you've been through it.

Just seeing her loss and what she has been through, I hope she finds lve again. Not because I love viaan or ship "kaviaan" but because someone like Katha deserves to love deeply again. Life does not begin and end with your child. I hope Katha realizes this too, and Cv''s will maybe show her missing that kind of love in her life.

again that could be disputed because we only have the narrative from nightie mama. we know she is psycho. look at teh way she calls katha "that type of single mother" -- someone who is desperate for a man again or some nonsense -- and she doesn't know katha at all or what is happening between her and viaan. no, I don't buy the gold digger or prostitute. the real story should be something else altogether.

YOU GOT IT! You said exactly what I have been wanting to say for the past few episodes. My personal shitz was coming in the way of me wanting to articulate this

Wait if she was a prostitute, does that mean Viaan’s father was cheating on mamaR from before through physical activities and before he even got into the relationship with that lady? Ughh i got too many questions.
