first is his gloating nature that he saved meerub life. Yes murtasim is a good character loves his wife, but here is his conservative mindset that ultimately he believes he owns his wife. Now that he has shed bled for her how dare she leave him. His smile, his superior body language as he sits down like he is won her.
But in the next min itself all his pride is killed when haya tells him she doesn’t consider him her husband. This hits him hard, because it is not haya lie, this is the truth even murtasim knows this that is why he believes it so quickly. Then he is angry, clenches his fist and he slumps down defeated and depressed. His superior body language is gone.

Props to Wahaj for swinging from one extreme to another first the conquering hero then a hopeless husband whose wife doesn’t want him.
So Yeah we love murtasim he is great but not perfect. Maybe this is how he will always be, meerub will just have to accept him like this and live her life the way he wants or will he change.

The eagle symbolizes pride, royalty, power all grand things. Murtasim is an eagle of the sky and he is a lion on the ground. So it is just a metaphor for his character. But if i want to overanalyze it then it is just a stuffed eagle, an eagle that cannot fly has no power has no majesty. murtasim grieving is like that dead eagle it just looks grand on the outside but in reality it is useless just like how murtasim feels. He is strong on the outside but he feels powerless on the inside when he can’t conquer the one thing he truly desires his wife heart. Murtasim sitting there feeling helpless is like that eagle statue which cannot fly.
