I don't think Meerab was the girl...may be earlier if there was a girl .... he was about to go all against them or leave them for her..but obviously he did not...But this time he is not ready to loose Meerab..He is so protective of her...

I think they made it very clear why Anwer isn't taking a stand for himself and his daughter. He says that Maa Begum should know how to respect them and especially, Meerab. And he even believes that Meerab was at fault for the panchayat debacle, so he is probably embarrassed as well. He keeps saying that everything depends on Murtasim now.

Logical baat toh nahi hai, but they have already implied that Meerab does not use her phone ever since she got married. That house is practically a cage for her, in every way.

Haya is using her last few brain cells to keep M & M apart, but destiny can not be defied. The two dumbos are made for each other and we are even dumber for losing our sanity over them😆

Also, I have to give it to the makers, the episodes pass by so quickly, hardly boring.

@bold She is seen scrolling on her phone whenever murtu enters their room. I guess they showed her using her phone 2-3 times. Also it's never implied she is not allowed to use phone in that house. If murtu allows meerab to dance on his head then the guy clearly ain't gonna stop her from using her phone😆

We still don't know why meerab didn't call her friends to her wedding or why she cut contact with them. I have always noticed how pak dramas never show FLs having good friends. There is not a single drama i can remember where the FL has a friend whom she can rely on and go to when she is having a hard time or is there when the FL is going through a hard time. I remember how much haala loved her friend safak and safak also seemed genuine but they never explored that friendship after her cousin played them both. They mostly show one of the two best friends ending up being the villain like mushkil. There is always bitterness or jealousy from either one of them or the friend will be a completely useless character that will be only there for initial 2-3 episodes. Does female friendships don't last in Pakistan or what?

On the other hand the ML will always have a friend's house where he can crash when kicked out of the house.
