Ya even I was wondering why is Reet spoiling Katha’s love story when Katha’s remarriage is the answer to all her (imagined) problems. It doesn’t make sense. Suddenly from a normally decent woman & good DIL who has deep unadressed insecurities, she has become the kind of vamp SIL who will put salt in the FL’s kheer just to spoil things for her, or pour oil on the stairs to trip her up

Likewise, Anirudh might morph from an over competitive & slightly dodgy business rival to someone who may sabotage the leads by removing the brake in their car 😕

So far the beauty of this show was the absence of such stereotype villians & vamps. There were grey characters operating from insecurity, immaturity, jealousy etc. I am not liking where they are going with Reet, Anirudh, even Ehsan.

Wasn't this tea making on his own in a tea shop a bit too much?? Lol for a hifi businessman, it was actually pretty unrelatable. 🤣

OK they are trying to show the softer and kinder and more familial side of Viaan, but who does that? And another important question, which tea shop owner would let the customers make tea??🤪

Otherwise the episode was decent. Katha was just too involved in the past moment that she shouted Adi. As a person who loved her husband so much, I really felt bad for Katha there. It's really not easy to come to terms with a personal loss like that, that too in such a young age. . She must have taken ages to come to accept the reality and that too because she had aarav with her as a kid in hand. Poor thing...

I do understand the issues Reet has with Katha. She is just insecure, jealous and worried of her situation in the family. These kinds of jealousy is common between women in household. But she is unnecessarily inviting herself into Katha and Viaan's relationship, and gaslighting Mrs.Raghuvanshi. Lol unnecessary vamps

Let's see how this goes.

@bold yes I agree such kind of personal loss is something people struggle with all their lives. Its not something someone could move on ever.

Katha remembering aadi was obvious thing but what I liked more about that scene was viaan was the one who was asking questions about adi. He was being completely normal even happy to see her eyes shine while mentioning adi.

This is something i like about viaan so much. He views katha as a whole together with her kid and past, memories of late husband and he doesn't have any problem with that. He likes her in this way only.

While ehsan has no problem with katha being widow and mother but he actually doesnt accept this fact. He tries to get katha away from all this. He wanted to talk to aarav only to know about katha more, he wanted to impress aarav so that katha will be impressed. He wants katha all to himself, there is no place of aarav in his dream life with katha so forget about her memories of her late husband. Ehsan seems insensitive and selfish in that matter.

I really wish they dont go that typical itv way.

I think that first ehsan and now reet's scene with nighty mama was done to solidify nighty mama's doubt about katha. Because that av changing thing was not enough to dislike katha. So this whole thing about reet telling her about katha's nature was done. Now nighty mama will have strong prejudice against katha due to which she will be so against kaviaan's marriage.

But yes it could have been in some other way because it will be against reet's wish to get katha remarried. But I guess reet is delusional fool anyway.

Bold@ Very true. I think I have mentioned this point in my previous posts also.

Viaan has seen his mother from the days she was broken down by his father, and he himself had to console her and cheer her up to make her smile.

Though the scenario is different between Katha and Teji, Viaan knows the pain of a woman, and how deeply it can affect them. Especially when it's caused due to the absence of their loved ones.

So he surely has learnt to accept people as they are, when he gets close to them. He doesn't need them to change, he just sees them as a whole.

His questions about Adi and Katha were so genuine, as he just wanted to know more about her late husband. If we keep the One night thing out, Viaan is definitely someone with whom a girl like Katha can be herself.

Ehsan I still am unable to figure that guy out. His interest in Katha seems too hasty, more of a obsession rather a genuine fondness. But yes, he just pretends to be nice with Aarav, invades their life just because he wants to impress Katha. Otherwise how well he can accept Katha and Aarav together, if that happens, is a question for another day....

That's the thing. There is dearth of writers on itv. All they can do is rinse repeat drama of saas bahu and saga of kitchen politics.

What was the need of doing vampire story in indian that too after so many years of vampire diaries. I guess almost everyone has watched it already. If not then now because of ott platform its available easily and Indian show's comparison with it will make everyone curious then they will watch it now😆 Why would they watch sub standard indian version then.

I hated the promo itself where another actor says that iconic "hello brother" of damon.🤢 why even copy such things and ruin memories of original as well.

We have many stories of indian supernatural characters besides nagin, make something on them.
