ITV and its need to glorify the female lead😵

When they want to show the female lead better than the male lead, they make the male lead do something unjustified and make the female lead do better than him just to make the audience sympathise and hail the female lead. Even that's okay, but let it be at least logical.

Same thing happened in Ghum. Virat has always been flawed but just to show Sai in a better light, they made her trust Virat's decision and made Virat the bad guy by asking her to give up her child and letting her go for Patralekha. There was no head or tail behind that decision. It was completely illogical. Still they showed it and the audience bought it (I know no one will agree and that's alright😆)

Same thing is happening here. They made Anupamaa spill the beans about Vanraj to Anuj but they made Anuj completely quiet on Maaya's issue. It's completely illogical. There is no head or tail to his silence. The issue wasn't that big for him to hide it. But he did. Just so the makers could show that look, Anupamaa is so perfect🤪🤣

Ha yaar even I didn't understand what is the big deal he is trying to hide. There should be transparency in the relationship just to show Anupama mahaan they are degrading his character. That is not at all fair..

I have put forward my sophisticated theory of the makers being geniuses many times but everytime I think I've nailed it they surprise me with more geniusness.

Yes, the glorification of their female lead is their primary intention, of course, anyway why shouldn't they, she's the lead - this you do understand.

So this track does that by comparing transparency in relationship. Glorification. Check.

In showing Anuj to be a naive, innocent teenage girl or in other words; a highly stupid grown-ass man; Anupama looks less stupid by comparison. Check.

When the one-dimensional vamp Maaya reveals her feelings infront of the whole world, the multi-dimensional creep Mr. Vanraj can ask Anupama: "did you know all this?"

Maya can then delightfully make more accusations and insinuations while Anuj stands silently, being the stupid grown-ass man that he is.

This is when Anupama can look shocked and betrayed and then proceed to shock all of us with her lecture: "Aap kuch bhi kahe, kuch bhi kahe, mujhe mera pati par poori poori viswas hai!"

Anuj looks at her like he's falling in love with her all over again. Shayari voice-over. Check.

"Aapko sharam nahi aati pati patni ki beech shak paida karne mein? Kya kuch bola mere Anuj ke baare...kya kuch...kya kuch bola...chee...chee...

Haan mujhe thoda dard hai ki Anuj mujhse kuch kuch batein chupaya...aur mujhe pata hai Maya ki tumne usse chupane ke liye bola and woh maan gayi kyunki mera Anuj itna...itna masoom hai. Lekin iska matlab ye nahi hai ki mujhe unpar vishwas nahi hai!"

One hard-hitting lecture (which hits the brain and not the heart but it hits something). Check.

Anuj has tears down his face. Maya, without even realizing what's happening, bows down infront of the enlightened soul. One more Anupama bhakt created. Check.

Anuj goes and hugs Anupama. "Tu kaise kar leti yaar ye sab"

One Maan lollipop. Check.

They're actually killing one bird (what's left of their story, if any) with many stones! (their ideas).

Ohh that's so true, he also had a backstory na I fought for her she got emotional I couldn't say shoo door hoja, it's not like he purposely lead her on or something

There is no sense in what the makers are trying to show except that they want Anupamaa to become Mahaan so that her going to SH leaving CA to Maaya could be swept under the rug and Anuj's SORRY puran would start any moment 👎🏼
