I just feel his decision to marry Arohi is the blunder he is making due to incomplete information. He has no idea he has a son out there. He thinks he has no children and they were lost that day. If he knew he would not marry Arohi for Roohi's sake. He thinks he only has Roohi so he is doing all of this really for her and following his mom's plan because he has nothing left.

If Akshu and Abhi had no children I would still see this shaadi business insane but eventually get over it.

Here there is a child involved who has certain relationships and this shaadi will just further complicate matters.
