In dono ka relationship direct confession se shaadi 2 mahine mein pahunch gayi, they went through all the trials and tribulations of a love marriage but not the comfort/intimacy. My guess is they wanted to capitalize on the lead chemistry, story pace etc and got them married. Ab they can push the intimacy and milk the chemistry a little more. Earlier, everything was unsaid/forbidden so there was anticipation etc which fed into the relationship and added extra oomph to their chemistry. Ab, they are together and the falling in love/being together is not the focus of the story anymore, so it starts getting rolled into the plot instead of it being the actual plot. And it is routine, not like much awaited scene type.

They do show, but only in shows involving college folks.

I think the makers here were very worried about potential social backlash if they showed Videv dating (the age difference + the older partner being looked upon as a potential predator).

So, in line with the audience's sensibilities, they went from confession (w/o dating- I still found their confessions to be a tad too quick), to quick separation (coz family- another sanskari thing) to marriage (which was also done via the Amba fake illness track; would probably not have materialised without it)

Everything's kosher (or at least in this age gap situation, more acceptable for the audience) once marriage's taken place. Unfortunately in ITV, family politics will take precedence once marriage is shown and the couple's romance takes a backseat. Which leads to the disconnect for the urban audience about the mature love story that was originally promised. Sad, but not unexpected from ITV.

Well said. I haven’t seen any ITV shows in the recent past, got back into it with NUKSH after a really really long time.

I still feel that the show is much better than anything that I have come across in a really long time - going back to the days of KZK/KTH/Kasamh se etc. Characters are well written and have been consistent so far. Yes things have changed a little bit post the wedding track, but it’s not gone completely off course and can be corrected if the makers so wish. It still is a mature love story, without a lot of OTT tracks etc. Keeping the larger audience in mind family drama is unavoidable in ITV. It could have just been a little more classy instead of crass like that mausi.

I am repeating myself, but would rather they come up with a set of good plot points, close all the open items and wrap the story up in a sensible way that viewers are able to relate to. Instead of going down the rabbit hole of separation/leaps etc.

according to Amba and that Divya girls interview Divya had doubt on dev that she is connected to him in some way . So she came to clear that. After Yogesh interference Amba came to know about this matter and use this against Vidhi without letting this known to dev. Everything will happen but dev don’t know what webbed around him. Amba expecting that with this she can brake videv relationship.from Vidhi side or dev being annoyed by Vidhi behaviour.

The main point is how Vidhi handle this alone and prove dev innocent. Will dev know about Divya and what all Amba planning around him? Did he really had a past with some other girl?

basically they are confusing us with these questions but they wont butcher dev core character. Divya will proven that some other relation with dev like friends daughter and Vidhi will expose Amba.
