Bossss. That show I stopped watching. It gave me nothing. No story, no relatability, no believability aur chemistry aur physics tou bahut dur ki baat hai…

I had actually said it on that show ka thread, that the only thing that works in that show is the OST which keeps playing like the violins before the titanic sunk…..aur vahi hua.

This is not about compromise or compatibility. This is about her being well behaved to deserve the love for Murtasim who is a great leader and a caring husband. To deserve someone like him, she should step down. Has he stepped down…sure, he wiped her feet and he said loving things to her, BUT does he accept her for what she is…hmmm….I guess he married her na, means he has accepted her. This is the regressive cake that is being fed to us. She will change as a person, he won’t, because we are made to believe he is perfect, he doesn’t need to. Except that, he wants to mold her, tame her and essentially bend her to bend to him.

of course we can all wait and watch and hope that she will get to do what she wants. Because there is no what THEY want, it is what she wants vs what he wants….and soon what he wants will be what she needs…

this is no clash of ideology, this is the pathway of control.

Exactly the point.

They are not compatible,their wants and desires from life are very different,they have to change themselves and let go of the things that is dear to them,they are not meant to be at first plce.

I said that same thing,marriage should always be in between 2 people who want same things they don't have to let go of the things for sake of other one.

And murtasim knew that thats the reason he doesn't want to marry,you have to accept it ki it was her who wanted it becoz of all the things happened to her.

I don't want her to let go of her desires,and thats why I never saw them compatible becoz this is the truth that for this marriage to work,they would have to sacrifice certain things dear to them.

@B-Dear this is harsh reality when 2 persons stuck into a relationship where they have different needs from life,than either they break off or one had to let go of his/her dreams.So yeah either Murtasim had to leave his family and village or Meerub had to that,sad na but kya karein aisa hi hai in their case.....

Thats why I'll again say marry someone for whom you don't have to sacrifice things dear to you becoz its certain that there would be things you have to sacrifice.

This is clash of things which a person want for him or herself.This isn't about control,this is about how to make things work out for them with a middle ground.
