He gives him a stare and walks away . We know the answer Murtasim the man can take meerab as his wife but the khan can’t as she has to be bended to fit into the role which he knows is not what meerab would like.

And on relating to character aren’t those fictional OTT else who in real world dump there child on someone else only to bring her back to family as daughter in law and whixh 21 yrs old will say yes to forced marriage and even if she does will put silly conditions and do men like Murtasim marry girls like meerab to practice celibacy??

Exactly.....

Thats why it is said marriage should be based on compatibility more than anything else becoz certain things you need to sacrifice for being in relationship so marry the one for whom you don't need to sacrifice things matters dearly to you otherwise you will not lead a happy married life.

And he meant exactly that being his wife she would have to do many things which she doesn't want and leave many things which she want.

And he never said yes to marriage it was her,she wanted it.

Hey guys.. Sorry for missing in action. Yeh thread itna fast move hota hai... It is impossible to keep track of it 😆

I came here now just to say that I watched the SH review. They devoted ONE HOUR 11 MINUTES for two episodes 🤣🤣 they should come join us on this thread.

For a change, I enjoyed Amna more today. She has correctly said logic ko duur rakhe iss show se 🤣🤣 sab kuch yaha dramatic hai aur drama build karne ke liye kiya jaa raha hai. Hassan bas maze le raha tha and kept saying all the cheap baatein without any subtlety. Itni baar maine "wet" word sun liya dono ke muuh se... Haye allah 😂😂

Anyways, you guys carry on. Mei shayad Tuesday ko hi waapis thik se active houngi. Have got some work to finish before that 😊

I also wanted to add. Next week promo dekha insta pe. Yaar iss haya ko koi maar daalo. Kuch zyada hi behaya ho rahi hai abhi 🙄🙄

Colu, you can take a little bit of credit for my missing. I am totally hooked and bingeing on Katha ankahee since last 2 days. 51 episodes ho chuke hai. Totally love it 😍😍

I think I got your point bro. I know what you want to understand so here it is what I think the explanation behind the village scene could.

The first meet of Meerasim was as disastrous as makers wanted it be, Murtasim was a man who commanded respect just because for who he is, and Meerub is the person who won’t respect you until and unless you deserved it. According to Meerub, Murtasim is a controlling man which is true cause it’s the way he is raised, you can only feel powerful when you have control over everything and everyone and for Meerub you can only be powerful when you know how to use it for good cause. That was the bone of contention in their relationship but their views regarding it changes when Murtasim realised that Meerub is not as privileged as he thought when her truth of being Anwar’s daughter was out and Meerub saw him in a different light when he was with her when her parents were not. Like someone said protectiveness is Murtasim’s instinct which was activated the moment he saw Meerub in a vulnerable position for the first time he saw her in a different light then she was portraying herself. It made him think that she is too like any other girl he has interacted with so far. And Meerub too saw him in different light when he helped her, she saw him as a man who knows emotions too. It was the point they cleared some of their misunderstanding.

But then Meerub was sure that Murtasim is the main cause of her problems, so she made that contract and Murtasim signed it too for his reputation but he agreed for marriage when Meerub said that she needed him it was enough to satisfy his male ego but his ego was hurt when Meerub made him signed that contract but given his character like I said before for him his words are law and when he agreed for marriage he gave his words and he needed to keep that and he knows that he is married to her and this is a lifetime commitment for him which further shifted his feelings when he saw how Meerub cared for him when he fell sick and he wanted that from her cause may be it was the first time someone cared for the Murtasim as a man not as an heir, head. His mother was more concerned about their position in the system, his uncle cared about him cause he is his only heir. And the way he rejected Haya before marriage it was clear that he is the man who only respects marital relationship not the guy to do love before marriage but I still feel that when Meerub cared for him that night is what changed his feelings totally. That’s why he turned soft towards her and when she went missing there his newfound feeling was the reason he was behaving. He doesn’t know the feelings but he knows that he feels something for her. And for Meerub, though Murtasim always took her side but never gave a major reason to her to change her feelings though kidnapping incident made her soft but then his behaviour again proved to her that he cares about no one but his power, and the accident is the push for Meerub which Murtasim felt when he got sick.

I hope I am making sense

But we all grew up in society and being liberal and progressive still we tend to keep our mouth shut as we are brought up like that where we are taught to voice out opinions but samay aur jagah dekh ke...

But when People see her defying that basic sense of respect we are instilled since childhood to voice out her opinions they term her as bratty which she is not,I'll again say she is not bratty aur ziddi.

Murtasim also opposes her in many things but he does that in walls of their room to which people relate we defy her elders at home,so we don't find big deal out of it.

But Meerab is that way becoz she was brought up like that to voice out her concerns, irrespective of how will it affect her near dear ones, becoz waqas always loved her to the point where he just catered to her demands. So her doing things publicly is also not her mistake.

@bold the same thing happened with Sai too, apparently even today one cannot take a women voicing out her opinions, standing for herself in a good way

Achhhaaa Tumne sensible aur logical baatein karne ki thaaan hi li hai….

Ab tou shawl milne se raha.

all I am saying, Mujhe nahi Janna, I don’t want to analyze, I want to just bask in superficial glory. But at the same time, I don’t want to invalidate anyone’s thoughts. I am very comfortable not relating or not feeling like any of them are believable. I have no such expectation from the show.

Actually I think people can take women standing up for themselves but still we are not above the bar where they can take it above family honor.

Its actually work in men case also, people will never like a man who will publicly humiliates his wife or family's honor,I don't think they will.

Its becoz we asian people are still instilled these family values at very deep level. So anything leading to family humiliation is big NO.

But than its also the fact that we still have close knitted families😆

So everything hs pros and cons.
