P witnessed it along with his complement with pride about Vinu being like Sai. Thats what led to lunch date. Her knowing she has lost him not his assurance

not so soon & not that easily. let majnu chavhan woo his bayko. that shou;d be a long track. Payback of post Shruti track. Savi can be his partner in crime. Like clean up of outhouse scene. They can continue having nok zhok. Him admiring Sai's antics when she tries to get Vinu down was cute. NB portrays majnu chavhan well
