I liked the movie nice twists and turns
Akshaye and tabu acted best even ishita was good. I felt ajay's expressions barely changed. Meera(Tabu) clung to the truth whereas Mahesh was more accepting of fate and wanted closure. Their son was a jerk but it's not completely their fault.
I watched drishyam 2 after drishyam 1. both movies had some nice aspects to the story like in drishyam 1 the idea of going to same place twice and convincing others they were there on the date. The first one had more meat to the story.
In both movies Gaitonde was unbearable. I understand the policeman's need for justice but not getting personal with or physically abusing suspects or criminals gaitonde crossed the line. Police brutality is shown quite severely in Bollywood than other cinema where I think it is shown more brutally for (potential) terrorists.
(ambiguous spoiler) In this one the book or swapping twists were good. in this one they could have added more details about sameer's crime and what the parents thought of it.
