I don’t understand why Katha is looking out for Viaan’s emotions and well-being by editing the video, but when he looks out for her she gets angry on him.

Viaan - Please let me be at-least a stranger in your life. And if you wish you can even yell at me...

Boy, is he getting his wish or what..

Katha is seeing more than the night in him. Whatever she sees or listens is impacting her view of him which makes her lash out more. She feels if this goes on, she will stop hating him and that is making her more agitated.

The truth of why Katha did what she did has changed Viaan's view on women. He is trying to see women for what they are. And as for Katha, he sees her very clearly now. He is changing himself for better. He is giving her the space that she needed. And he also became her biggest champion.

He is always there in the background cheering her silently. But if he finds out that she is in any distress he dashes forward without any hesitation. He even stands up for himself against his mother, which he has never done because he finds Katha in his corner this time.

Katha keeps asking who gave him the right to defend or protect her. But she keeps forgetting the same. Who gave her the right to protect him then. They both are taking that 'haq' from each other. Poor Ehsan stuck between them having no clue of their dynamics...lol

Like she said that Katha omitted everything about Viraj, whereas a generous amount of the video was actually about Viraj. Anything more than that is just too much; I mean the main portion of the video has to be about the actual company instead of just the founders. 🙄

Teji's obsessive behavior is getting too infuriating. Viaan is trapped by his mother's manipulative behavior; there was absolutely no reason for him to apologise, but she gaslighted him to think that he is wrong. I cannot wait for the scene when Viaan seriously gets angry with Teji and perhaps even move out of his house for his mental peace. Yes, I know that leaving parents in considered a sin in our society. But in my opinion, if the parent is dangerous and abusive, then I think it is okay to distance yourself from this toxicity.

It's so sad that most people Viaan is 'close' to is so toxic. First it was Ehsan, and now it's Teji. If you think about it, he has everything in the world due to money, but he does not have a few pure people with whom he is close to. 😔 😢

it is messed up to the core and super dysfunctional to say the least. that is why we can't wrap our heads around it. I am going to say it again but nightie mama is full on crazy, crime patrol style. maybe they will do some ITV style whitewashing but she gives me creepy vibes.

lets do a compare to another mom here to see how bizarre teji's reaction is:

farah is ecstatic with the AV. was she offended? no. she was happy that her husband got mentioned as founder even if the video was focusing more on viraj's contribution than salim. but rather than take offense that viraj got more screen time perhaps, she was totally cool. then, we see her glowing when the AV is focused on the future and what viaan and ehsaan are doing. she loved ehsaan's sound bytes and was in full smiles. why? because her son is getting felicitated and his limelight. so both her husband and son are getting equal measure of importance in the AV. this is not just about the past but also about the present and future. she is happy for ehsaan.

now lets a contrast with teji. was she happy that the video mentioned viaan and what he was bringing to the table and his plans for future? NO. in her mind, this is all about viraj's shining moment and no one, not even viaan is allowed to steal the spotlight. so it had to be nausea inducing relentless drone on about viraj -- that is what she wanted and no one would have said anything to her. but katha made it more about the current owners and she couldn't tolerate it.

so think how creepy this is -- her son is somewhat of a replacement for viraj because she has a problem with him leaving her in the future. but at the same time, no one can replace viraj and not even her son is allowed to do better than him professionally. this woman is full on psycho. 🤢

Your post actually is quite insightful for Farah. Till now, I was annoyed at her behaviour primarily due to Ehsan. But now I actually feel that Farah is a good mother, especially compared to Teji. Like you said, she was content with whatever attention that Salim and Ehsan got in the video, though I feel that the focus on Salim was way, way less than Viraj (which is not fair, tbh).

Farah seems to me the kind of woman who cares more about her son's wishes and less of what the society thinks. Yes, this can turn toxic as well if she agrees to whatever nonsense Ehsan wishes to pursue. But I find Farah quite refreshing for the most part. This is evident with the fact that she almost ships Ehsan and Katha, purely because she can sense that her son is interested in Katha. Farah does not carry the negative impression that Katha is an orphan, a single mother, etc. This is a huge contrast to Teji, who is selfish to the core and cares mostly about what she feels and ignores Viaan's emotions.

farah has a good knowledge of ehsaan's shortcomings even as a business owner. that is why she sees katha like a potential golden goose. someone who will be the brilliant architect to design while ehsaan can run the business. so her support of katha seems twofold in that sense. yes, it is about what ehsaan wants but also what ehsaan needs practically speaking. but yea, her relationship with ehsaan seems much more healthy and normal. this is good because we need a contrast to the psycho style parenting vibe we have between viaan and teji. basically to show that not all single widowed mothers are psycho. there are normal women out there as well.

Yesterday's episode was quite good. Lot of developments were shown.

Like Viaan understood that Katha changed the video coz she was concerned for his feelings with regards to his father.

He was reminded of Teji's words about loving someone for real when (I won't say fought), but when he argued with his mother for Katha.

And again the way Katha reprimanded him for standing up for her, I liked that too. Coz he retreated quite soon and he apologized which was quite gentlemanly. But what I liked after that was, there was this hesitant, embarrassed vibes between them like a couple who stare at each other after a fight.

Katha also was left to ponder when Ehsan asked why you did this. Even if she's not thinking too much about it, she'll eventually get there. That she is concerned for Viaan. Which itself is a huge step.
