Vinu and Savi are also not in similar situations, neither brought up similarly. That reflects in how they are coping. One child is easily swayed by fake stories and is living in fear and has become a spoilt brat who does emotional blackmail to get his way and the other says- I guess you had some promise(reason) so you didn't tell me. In her innocence she thinks now they can just be happy family again.
Vinu without Sai/Savi reflects the parvarish of V and P. Inherently like every child he is sweet and innocent but VP parvarish makes him a brat.
So different yardsticks are because the situations are different and not the same.
Vinu ending up with VP is a stroke of luck and their bad parvarish is there for all to see. Until conflicts have happened Vinu has a comfortable lifestyle and was a sweet child but VP upbringing shows when he is put in a difficult situation and cant cope. P is nothing more than nanny- she's NOT a mother. A mother doesn't poison her child just to get her way.
And V instead of ensuring P does not corrupt him is giving "warning" but letting p continue her nonsense. so he is failing in his duty as a father.
V has done nothing to be worthy of both kids love, admiration.
If he starts to actually focus on Vinu's mental health and placing Savi above p , it'd show he's not an utter failure as a father also.
There's nothing more comical for me to read than to see comparison of P and Sai's love for Vinu. Its so ludicrous that I won't go into it also. P is a criminal. Period.
Sai took on Chavan name only out of love. She didn't adopt it when she was married without love even if other people referred to her as Chavan. Sai dropped the name after her husband's betrayal.
But V took Sai's name for show off. He dropped her name because she was dead even though he claims he "loves" Sai and he married P - the criminal who drove Sai to leaving CN.
Such a man doesn't deserve 2 kids who think he can do no wrong.
If V really is progressive, he should have pointed out that even if Savi remained Joshi she'd still be his daughter with an equal claim on him, the house, the family. She doesn't need to change her name..
Savi has been shown curious about things and having a distinct personality, happy with her identity - so this whole step of wanting to change name is not at all needed for her to hug V and love him as her baba.
So this name change business is completely unecessary tactics.
Its like telling the audience - mother can do anything and everything but child will always want fathers name only. 🙄
Savis wish to be Chavan can still be overlooked as child's craving for babas name because thats the soceital norm but V stressing on it is not required.
The scene of V Savi hugging happily would be perfectly fine without a mention of Savi Chavan also.
Because Savi Chavan was mentioned, i wasnt happy to see her hug her father.
Also kids are pretty perceptive. It'd be really silly if both kids accept that they are V and Sai's kids but P is also Vs wife and has become Vinu's mumma without probing why P exists in their life in the first place
And they may not get all answers since they are just kids. but its important V , P and CN losers face those questions.
They need to explain why Sai was forced into a position where she had to choose to leave.
Why no one looked for her and easily assumed her dead!
Why he'd marry again if he only loves Sai.
Why he'd remarry P and take pheras even after Sai is back.
And as they think about it all it'd be good if they can have some guilt for their actions.
