The Sai-Savi bond is one of the best. It gives Sai-aabaa a run for the money too. Sai-Savi is amazing, Every nuance today from both of them was pitch perfect. Savi knew how Sai would feel- she knew Sai would be worried so she cutely called to inform and was trying to even reassure her saying address pata hai, paise hai...if only she was like 20 years older, Sai may have felt not terrified but Savi's declarations was only causing more palpitations for poor Sai. Savi's cute indecisiveness as she thinks about whether to go home or go to CN is also too cute. and then she switches to fear as she realizes she is in trouble but for a 6-7 year old she shows remarkable presence of mind and bites, throws sand and RUNS. She is SO good. And then she hides without a sound. and then when she finally sees Sai her relief as she hugs her mother and immediately says- aai, yeh gande hai, mujhe pareshaan kar rahe hai. she was terrified as she watched her mom fight those goons. Ayesha killed the expressions. her fear, worry, and her presence of mind- with singular focus on finding Savi- so amazing and then the action scene was very well done. as soon as goons are gone, immediately she goes from aggressive to tender. She places the shoes on Savi and doesnt say anything to reprimand her already terrified child. She goes home carrying her because she is hurt and she stops UM from ranting and simply takes the child to bed, makes sure she is in clean clothes, safely tucked in bed and asks if she wants something to eat. such a mom thing to do. that scene in bed as Savi apologizes but explains what she wants is heart wrenching. and the way she cuddles and hugs Sai's waist and wants to sleep with her- its so sweet and real. All the kid wants is to be in her moms embrace. I am like almost 5 times as old as the kid but even I hug my mom and dad and sleep on their lap like Savi did whenever I go home after a long time. Its an indescribable feeling. its just comfort in purest form. The way Sai straightens her up and makes her comfortable in her lap and pats her to sleep is SO naturally done. She listens to everything Savi says with a heartbroken expression. Sai knows savi is right to want her "Family" but she is too little to understand why she cant have a normal family because her father and other relatives are all A-grade LOSERS and cheats. But shes stuck. She cant tell Savi and ruin the image of her family and her father and make the child bitter but se also cant accommodate everything Savi wants. Sai looks so torn. Her eyes speak so much but all she says is- so jao, subah baat karenge.
Can only imagine what a long disturbed night it must have been for Sai. She must be shaken- she is already dealing with SO much heartache to do with Vinu and everything V has inflicted upon her all her life and now there's more.
Ayesha lives and breathes Sai like no one else can. She is amazing. What a performance. What range. She goes form action queen to the tender loving mother in no time. She is incredible.
Ayesha and Aria are a joy to watch together. May god bless both of them. They are SO SO amazing as mother-daughter.
I really want Savi to remember all this and never talk about taking the Chavan name again. She is always a Joshi. Sai Joshi's baby girl. Thats her identity. And she should be proud of it no matter how much she also loves her baba. He doesnt deserve her love but Savi doll will give him unconditional love of a daughter regardless but her guroor, her inspiration, her role model should always be her mother Sai.
And Vinu also should realize that he belongs to Sai. Thats his aai. Savi him and Sai are a family. Everyone else may be a well wisher or acquaintance, biological relatives but his family- the people he can trust and he should stand by are Sai and Savi. He should ask to change his name to Vinayak Sai Joshi as well.
