I am surprising people find un-involvement more insulting than backstage manipulative tactics and orchestrated narratives.

He won by majority. With VOTES. That's more fair and just than backstage tactics. If he wouldn't have won, it would have been insulting to those who voted for him. So yeah he isn't a universal winner (there never is), but still he is a winner in all fairness.

I don't like him as such. But I dislike manipulative backstage strategies, staging fights & faltu ki PR tactics more as of now. I find that more distasteful than un-involvement.

This post has so many contradictions...

BB wasn't biased towards him. If not bias, what would you call BB makers never calling him out on non-participation in any task or house-duty; when others like Sumbul & Ankit were repeatedly taunted for sleeping, he could peacefully spend 75% of his BB time sulking under the blanket or just lazing around. Instead to wake him up, BB arranged for his GF's clothes to be brought in for sniffing...they pampered him no end!

He wasn't a violent bully. - There were rare occasions when Stan became active in BB and in majority of those, he got aggressive whether it was with Shalin, Archana or even with Sreejita. He always participated in low-key bullying with rest of Mandali gang.

His remarks were not triggering. - Maybe not to you, but to any self-respecting female, his regressive remarks were highly triggering. His patriarchy mentality is certainly not one to be lauded.

The makers didn't try to create any narrative/task/talk to prop him up. - This comment of yours takes the cake! BB makers arranged for an entire concert to prop him up; got all WKW guests to praise him to the sky even though at least half of those guests can never in this lifetime be appreciative of his (lack of) music, asked him to rap even in the confession room even though they stopped a melodious singer like Rahul Vaidya from humming his tunes in earlier season; the list goes on and on...

His PR bots didn't create nuisance over the social media. - His actual fans created enough nuisance by hacking into other contestants' fans' twitter accounts and revealing their personal details. Also, the kind of language used by majority of his fans was completely off-putting.

He didn't try to create an image to win. Didn't he just carry on with his 'Basti ka hasti' curated image??

Also, on this forum the people who are disappointed with Stan's win are doing so on the basis of other contestants' actual participation and effort, not due to any backstage PR tactics.

Stan’s fans did not vote for his performance in the house. No way!

They voted blindly for him en masse because they like who he is, NOT what he was doing in the house.

So, either they’ve no idea what BB is all about, or are simply a huge swathe of dumb a**es..

Which is why, for a large chunk of BB watchers, this Season bordered on the unbelievable.

But then, who am I to say? Maybe India in general doesn’t get what Bigg Boss (Big Brother) is really all about: Performance in the House!! Not Popularity outside the House!!🤪

Well, nowhere in my post did I write that his performance inside resulted in him winning by a huge margin. But then again, my opinion in this matter may be biased cause he was not my first choice to win this show.

Since season 1 there have been many winners who have won just because the channel had some projects planned for them post BB. In comparison to that, at least Stan was chosen by the people this time. Now whether these voters watch BB or not who knows? Without any sort of evidence, just saying that his voters might not be BB watchers seems a little juvenile to me.

And the voices on this forum are not an indicator of what the large chunk of BB watchers think. Time and again, I have reminded people here that we are only a tiny subset on BB viewership and therefore the opinions displayed here shouldn't be confused to be those of the majority. Also, this subset was forged by ruthlessly bullying and driving people who held other opinions away, so clearly inaccurate results and shock should be expected.

The contestant I voted for didn't win either but I am just happy that after many seasons the makers finally decided to follow the one cardinal rule of this game: Only public voting can make you win.

I say that from a larger perspective. Because IMO a lot many contestants including Ankit and Sumbul have been favoured, especially in the beginning. If stan was favoured by above points, then so were other potential candidates. Contestants were brought back, talked to, given instructions, saved, were given tasks and so on... So yeah he wasn't favoured, he was just kept there because he had fan following. He wasn't favoured from game's POV.

Nope he wasn't a violent bully. Giving it back or verbal spats isn't bullying.

If his concert is propping him up, which btw is legit because he has that fan following, then what are n number of dance performances, promoting abdu's songs and so on.... Outside people have praised so many people. Not just stan. This propping up is very relative again. Not on a scale like BB does when it wants to. They didn't prop him in any narrative. Nope. He was a rapper and remained a rapper. That's not called creating a narrative.

Again the nuisance quotient, well that's relative too. Mostly BB16 SM was heavy with aggressive heavy trolling by Priyanka team.

I didn't see his basti ka hasti game image in BB. He was just stan mostly. It's after his win this image is being highlighted. I saw it as just a rap song. There is an image and he comes from basti, he didn't try to build his game around that image.

So all in all, these are relative things. What's not relative but a fact is his fan following. He isn't a saint, but from my perspective it's a pretty fair win.

Also I don't go personal with my views, so peace out.

rest winners also won by highest votes.

colors might have projects or it was edited but they got highest votes in finale and won

finale votes are audited

You wait and watch ...in one of the coming seasons one of the bahus will have huge fan base outside, and she will win these same people will ask how it is fair because she had an outside fan base.

Lol this season was a joke. All the rappers asked their fans to vote for this “Stan” his own fan following n others.. those people didn’t care whether he played well or not they didn’t watch the season, most of them probably didn’t even know who he is. lol he could probably go participate in KKK and win that to by doing absolutely nothing.
