Aruna is favoured in general so I'm not surprised.

But I think in this case the channel didn't want to hurt Jain community sentiment, especially given that they may have political clout (cough, cough, Adani, cough, cough).

Gurkirat is vegetarian too, Priya was vegan but they weren’t given such liberties.

Even a few seasons ago, there was a Sikh guy who was vegetarian but he got no such benefits.

We use it in dals and chole. I've also made a pineapple coated with tamarind before that you then grill. I don't have an actual grill so I used one of those iron pans to grill it. Damn tasty.

We also make sandwiches (paninis) where we coat one side of the bread in tamarind, add grilled veggies and cheese, and a little bit of brown sugar. Then you press it in a panini maker/sandwich maker/waffle maker.

Oh ya bread..didn't think of the simplest thing🤦

Even dabeli has tamarind chutney on one side..instead will try coating n grilling/frying like bread pakoda

Should have seen Aruna's face when Svarna picked up the cloche...the effing death glare...

Ye favouritism ka kya matlab hai? Aruna's def winning this season and she doesn't deserve it. I don't care if she made a few banger dishes, being a chef means you should be able to cook with every damn ingredient, irrespective of whether or not you consume it.

And she must have known the freaking terms and conditions before signing the contracts.

Now I want to know who is her influence on the inside.
