But Pakistani dramas have come a long way..pehle even hand holding was rarely shown..I remember getting annoyed by it a decade ago 😆

Unpopular Opinion:

Everyone is fixated over slap but did not see how emotional and out of control Meerub kept pushing him for no reason and at that time Murtusim had no idea why she was behaving that way. Also, she called him begerat in that heated moment he reacted that way, instantly he regretted his actions. It happens to most of us, after all we are humans we do things when not in senses.

To my understanding men resort to violence to release their frustration, like we women cry or scream. As the men are told not to cry, which I think is wrong to teach young boys not to show emotions.

The problem is both sides want ideal ML & FL, one want ML to be perfect even if he has not made any mistake and be blamed by FL. Others want FL to be perfect be a Mary Sue.

I am liking both they are grey shaded people, have their flaws. Meereb is stubborn and Murtisim is to rigid in his thinking. If Murtisim wants this marriage to work, he needs to let go of traditions which does not reflect the changing society. He knows Meerub is a city girl, he needs to show and tell her the life in village is different. Meerub needs to stop being to stubborn and start understanding by behaving like this will not get her what she wants, there are other ways to get her point across.

Murtisim should have warned her about their enemies, but the thing is would Meerub have listened and believed. Right now she is doing all this that they would get fed up of her behaviour and let her go.
