intense dialogues but something is still missing for me the chemistry is lacking, the situation is intense some dialogues are intense but the overall screenplay is weak, they need to learn from GUL KHAN.

this scene reminded me of this scene:

Dialogues are intense, also that one when murtu was searching for meeru and he said

"Baat meri izzat ki hai, meri jaan ki hai"

Can totally understand, that's your pov. But in my pov chemistry is there which is saving the grace despite of weak storyline.

This couple is far better than many Gul Khan couples.
